𝓢ATURDAY  𝓝OVEMBER  𝓣WENTY- 𝓕IRST

Everybody in the masquerade ball was part of some sort of lineage of royalty. Nearly everyone was either wearing a tiara or a crown. Each and every crown looked different from one another. Kat and I wandered around the ballroom for a few minutes. We kept holding hands, because we did not want to get separated from one another. Ezra's rules were vivid enough to know that if we break them, then we are screwed for life and will probably be shipped back to Virginia on the next plane.

"This is the most amazing day of my life," Kat squealed.

"Yeah. A bunch of royals in one place. Real amazing," I groaned.

"Don't be such a grinch tonight. You'll instantly stick out if you are the rudest American to interact with these people," Kat pleaded. She started looking through the crowd of people. I do not know who she expected to find, because everyone was wearing a masquerade mask of some kind. "I'm dying to know what Seraphina is wearing tonight. I would kill to design a gown for her!"

"You could kill me if you want," I joked. Somewhat joked.

Immediately, my eyes were drawn to the food. I pulled Kat over towards the tremendous buffet that was laid out for everyone.

Suddenly, as I was stuffing my face, the sound of heralding trumpets got everyone's attention. Everyone stopped what they were doing; whether it was dancing, drinking, eating, talking, or socializing - they all faced the direction of the trumpets.

"I am pleased to introduce His Royal Highness Prince Dominick Hudson of Astalilia," a man said. Everyone cheered as Dominick walked up to the edge of a balcony. He smiled and waved to the crowd while they were cheering for him. He was dressed in a tuxedo and was wearing a sash with purple coloring on it. Purple is the national color of Astalilia. He also had a crown on. "Please welcome the King and Queen of Astalilia. His Majesty King Ezra William Fitzgerald of Astalilia and Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth Josephine Fitzgerald of Astalilia."
