𝓕RIDAY 𝓙ANUARY 𝓣WENTY- 𝓝INTH

Alarms! I will personally reign down hell on the person who has an alarm going off right now. I opened my eyes and saw that Kat was already awake eating breakfast.

"Sorry, did I wake you?" Kat asked, sarcastically.

I tossed her walkie talkie across the room and checked the time.

Six o'clock in the morning.

Mornings and I have never gotten along well in my life. We were not good friends.

How long has Kat been awake? She already has our breakfast in my bed. She managed to get out of bed, go to the kitchen, pick up our breakfasts, and come back to bed all without waking me up. She is like a mouse.

I was not hungry, but I sat in my bed eating breakfast with Kat. She has been sleeping in my bed with me since she was released from her mandatory quarantine. The two of us did not want to be apart, because there is a chance, we might not be together after tomorrow.

Holy shit! The coronation is tomorrow!

Time is winding down!

Kat constantly keeps her hooded cloak on, because she does not want people to see her hair turning blue. She has not used her ability since being studied in her quarantine. I am not used to seeing Kat with blue hair, but her streaks are nothing to be ashamed of.

All warriors have battle scars in order to help them move on from their nightmares. Kat's blue hair is her own form of a battle scar. She risked her life to save me, avenge Nathan, and protect all citizens of Astalilia.

Someone knocked on the door, and I called for them to come inside.

I figured it was Seraphina. She has been sleeping in Kat's bed since we got back from Findara. She used to sleep in my bed with me while Kat was in her quarantine, but she wanted to see if she could sleep alone without any nightmares. The first few days being back, Seraphina would wake up in the middle of the night screaming. Since I did not wake up to her snuggled in bed with us, I assumed her nightmares were under control. Somewhat. I do not expect her to be okay with what happened yet.
