Kat pulled herself out of the water. Thank God she is alive. I do not know how she was able to breathe under the water for that long, but I am glad that she did.  The glowing water that encased her disappeared under the water, and Kat was able to climb out of the water. Did the encased water have oxygen?

I am confused. This is a confusing situation.

Who cares about my confusion! Katherine Harding is alive! My best friend is alive.

Glowing!

Kat is glowing!

She looked like a vibrant blue angel descending from heaven.

Her body was radiating this gorgeous neon blue color and she was lighting the darkness that surrounded us in this forest.

"Kat!" I exclaimed. "Thank God, you're okay!"

"Stay- stay away from me," Kat whispered.  She backed away whenever we took a step near her. Her teeth chattered and her body was shivering. She looked to be in shock. The poor girl is freezing. "I don't want to hurt any of you. Please stay back," she urged.

"Kat. Kat, please stay calm," I said.

"Please! Stay back!" Kat shouted.

Kat turned around and her body emitted this electric blue lightning. The four of us ducked our heads and shielded ourselves from the lightning.

The lightning did not come from only her hands. Her entire body emitted the lightning almost as if Kat was exploding.

Gabe took it upon himself to move closer to Kat. She was not telling him to back away, because she did not know that he was behind her. The rest of us wanted to keep our distance.

I know for a fact, that even if Kat saw Gabe behind her, she felt safe around Gabe. We all felt safe around Gabe. He knew how to be comforting. He knew how to be non-threatening. Even though his ability could freeze a person to death.

"Kat. Kat, I know you're terrified right now. I need you to try and remain still and absolutely calm. We are going to get you help," Gabe whispered.
