𝓕RIDAY 𝓓ECEMBER 𝓔IGHTEENTH

I woke up the next morning still wearing my ball gown and my neck twisted, because I had been sleeping on top of Nathan's chest. My entire ball gown was the only source of warmth I used last night, because I did not use any blankets during the night. The irritating sound of banging on my door woke me up, but the petite and blissful sound of Kat's voice made the banging worth it. She came into my room and jumped on my bed to wake both Nathan and I up.

Kat laid across the foot of my bed. She was on top of both of our legs - restricting our movement.

"If the sun is not up, I swear you won't make it to twenty-one years old," I mumbled.

"The sun is up. The snow stopped falling, and we have five more days until the kingdom knows your name. Let's get to work!" Kat squealed.

"She makes a strong argument," Nathan whispered. "I'm gonna go find Gabe and Henry and then head home to make sure my parents don't think I'm missing," Nathan said. He gently kissed me goodbye and was quickly out the door.

"Do you ever think Nathan would introduce you to his parents?  I mean, he seems to be very secretive about his entire life," Kat asked.

"Gabe said something about his parents being extremely laid back. According to both Henry and Gabe, the three of them have lived together since they were eighteen," I explained.

Kat and I attempted to discuss the intricate lifestyle choices of our friends. However, the conversation was difficult to both explain and interpret. The both of us realized that we knew little to nothing about our new friends. Maybe the little details were not important. I feel like I know everything I need to know.  Especially about Nathan. I did not need or want to know anything more.

Kat and I changed into riding clothes, and I got ready to check off things from my daily planner.

We went back to all the basics of my princess training. In order to prepare for the Winter Ball, I went through more dining etiquette, posture and royal mannerisms, dress fittings, and doing walkthroughs of my royal entrance.

We did not go through any media and delegation training, because that has nothing to do with the Winter Ball. If I decide to be Queen all those topics will be tackled once I possibly become Queen.
