Part 2 chapter 32

We climbed into the back of dixies car. Me Avani charli and Dixie were meeting mads, Amelie and Nessa at the mall. It was nice to start getting to know the others better. I knew Amelie the best. Me Avani and her have hung out quite a few times but nessa and mads I've only met them a handful of times.

When I first met nessa it was few weeks after the whole chase situation when josh started to hang out with her again. She was sweet and she's been over a few times same with Mads and jaden. It's nice to have a few more girls around even though they don't come around as often as I thought they would.

Anyways we were blasting music driving down the highway to the mall with our windows down. I was up front with Dixie and it just felt great to be finally be out with the girls.

We pulled up to the mall and walked to the place we were meeting the others and they each came running over.

After we all had met up we walked around to find a Dunkin for charli. Not like she needed the coffee she was already hyper enough but she wanted it. I would giggle at every jump or dance move she would do around the mall as Dixie would nudge her in the side telling her to stop it.

We had been in and out of multiple shops looking at different items or clothes we wanted to buy. A few of the girls had already brought a load of things where as I had one small bag filled with a present I had got for Bryce. I saw some of the shoes he had said he liked and couldn't miss the opportunity to get them for him especially after everything he's done for me the last couple of months.

As we were walking I had slowed down with Dixie and Avani at either side of me talking as I had done so I felt someone grab at my arm and turn me around. When I was faced with Preston my whole eyes glazed over and I felt sick to my stomach.

I could see out of the corner of my eyes Dixie and Avani looking at the boy with daggers.

Preston-"well well well princess" his grip on my arm tightened and Avani went to grab his hand away from me.
Savannah-"vani don't please." I whisper to her. She pauses as she looks to Dixie.

Savannah-"listen Preston I don't know what you want or what you or doing but I want you to stay away from my friends" I say in as much confidence as I can manage.

Preston-"awww are you scared I will hurt your friends" he says going to grab dixies arm but I reach my hand out to stop him.
Savannah-"I told you nicely. Now Leave them the fuck alone."
Preston-"gotten back to your old self I see. I could slap that out of you right now"
Charli-"don't you dare"
Savannah-"charli it's okay. I've got this" I say with a slight turn of my head to see charli looking over with worried eyes.

The mall was quite busy today surely someone around would notice what was going on and how it wasn't right. Well except for the fact we were on the top floor by the toilets and well not many people were here. He timed it right really.

I glanced my eyes over to Amelie mads and nessa who all looked like they had seen a ghost. However I did notice Amelie on her phone. I wasn't sure what she was doing but at least she was doing something.

Preston-"your friends all have an attitude as well I could teach you all a thing or two" he said yanking me forward a bit.
Savannah-"this is between me and you not them so leave them alone. It's me your mad at. It's me you want so get it over with and leave them alone"
Mads-"savannah no!"
Nessa-"how are we supposed to just be okay with letting him do what he wants to you"
Savannah-"guys I've done this before. Trust me it's gonna be okay just don't get involved" I say turning back to face Preston who had a smirk on his face.

Preston-"being brave princess"
Savannah-"and you can stop calling me that" I yelled up to him yanking my arm away for him to smirk more.
Preston-"why what are you going to do, cry" he said with a fake pout watching me closely.
Savannah-"no I'm not gonna cry." I say staring into his eyes to watch them to see if I can read out his plan. Unfortunately I couldn't tell a single thing he was thinking.

Preston-"hmm alright then. Are you going to throw one of your pathetic punches?"
Savannah-"no Preston" I mumbled.
?-"she won't but I might" a voice from behind Preston spoke I looked around to see bryce standing their and my eyes instantly watered. Thank you Amelie!

Preston turned around confused only to be hit straight in the jaw by Bryce as Blake came over and took a turn. A few of the boys came up and hit him as I fell down next to Avani and dixie.

Dixie-"you did so good"
Avani-"honestly Bebe you were amazing"
Nessa-"so brave" she said coming over and knelling infront of me.
Savannah-"thank you all so much. And thank you Amelie for texting the boys"
Amelie-"least I could do"
Mads-"I honestly couldn't believe that. You were sooo brave"
Charli-"amazingly! I swear I would of broken down if it was me"

I looked over to see Preston on the floor and the boys surrounding him until the police arrived. I had to go and speak to a separate officer as the others spoke to one all together. You can imagine how that one went. Two officers were arresting Preston and for a moment I thought they were going to arrest the boys but somehow they got away with it being 'self defence'

I filled in my statement as I watched Preston get put in handcuffs and taken down to the exit. I felt a sudden wash of relief as all of them had finally been arrested.
