Chapter 44

Time skip

The night before court the boys and vani all decided we should go out for a meal. They chose this steak place and we all got dressed up ready for it. They mainly did it too take my mind off Tomorrow and I think to do something nice in case the worst possible out come comes tomorrow. I was so lucky really. They cared, they did all this just so I wouldn't be stressing the night before and I'm so glad they did cause on the way home I fell asleep in Bryces lap and I know I wouldn't of slept that night if I didn't.

It was the day of court and I really didn't want to go if it wasn't for Bryce practically dragging me out of bed I wouldn't of even got up.

Bryce-"look I even picked the outfit out for you all you have to do is put it on"
Savannah-"mhm" I said burying my face into the pillow.
Bryce-"please sav just get up"
Savannah-"nah"

Next thing I new I was being picked up and placed onto a cold counter top. I opened my eyes to see Bryce staring at me in my bathroom.

Savannah-"dork" I laughed as I jumped of the counter running back to bed.
Bryce-"uh no" he picked me up and placed me back on the counter this time handing me a shirt and skirt to put on.

I sighed as he closed the bathroom door for me to get ready. Once I was finally done I knocked on the door so I could get out, he peeped the door open and saw I was dressed and opens it fully. I laughed a i chucked my pjs on the bed.

Bryce-"breakfast" he exclaimed as he opened the door for me to walk out.
Savannah-"not that hungry"
Bryce-"you have to eat something"
Savannah-"I'll be fine Bryce"
Bryce-"Mhm"

We walked down the stairs and into the kitchens everyone's eyes fell on me and I felt myself gulp back. They all either smiled at me or said good morning, I didn't want them all there I know that sounds stupid but if I break down or can't do it I don't want them to see me that weak again. At first I didn't even want Anthony Bryce and Avani there but they somehow convinced me. The other boys didn't push it and I'm glad they didn't to be honest.

Bryce ate some toast and I nibbled on the crust of one, Anthony and Avani came in and ate a bit before they said we had to leave. I nodded and slipped some shoes on.

Kio-"good luck"
Quinton-"were all here for you"
Jaden-"Tell them the truth sav try not leave any details out" I smiled weakly nodding at them.
Anthony-"cmon" he put his arm over my shoulder and lead me to the door.

Avani and Anthony sat up front whilst me and Bryce sat in the back. I lay my head against his shoulder as he looked down at me gently kissing me.

Savannah-"I don't know if I can do this"
Bryce-"of course you can and straight after we will all be here for you."
Savannah-"hmm"i gave him a fake smile as I turned my head down so he couldn't see my face anymore.

We pulled up outside the building and I felt myself begin to sweat. I saw max smirk as we got out the car, how could he be so calm and sure he would get away with it. He literally admitted to it for Christ sake.

I sighed as we walked up to the building, Lowering my head as we walked in and took our seats. I saw him look in my direction and I looked away instantly.

A/n-I don't really know how court goes that much so I will just write and guess as much as I can sorry.

The judge called us up and I had to swear to tell the truth and so did he. As he walked up to the stand some of the jury smiled at him, why the fuck would they do that. I sat back in my seat and watched as he lied about everything lied about spiking my drink and even lied about the whole situation with the boys, saying they were threatening him.

As I took the stand I heard the jury whisper something and max smirk to his lawyer. Oh my fucking god what's going on. I told my side of the story and we were dismissed as they made a decision.

Bryce lay his hand on top of my thigh to get me to stop bouncing it up and down. Anthony wrapped his arm over my shoulder and Avani kept weakly smiling at me. I felt like I couldn't breathe as they walked back in the room.

Jury-"we find Maximus ... guilty"

His smirked dropped and my smile became obvious. I really thought he had some way out that he knew them or some shit. Maybe it was just my way of overthinking but he was found guilty he was finally found guilty. He had to be he literally said he drugged me. I felt my eyes well up, it's over he can't come near me again for a while, at least.

Max-"see you around I guess"
Savannah-"I uh... I er..."
Max-"awww cat got your tongue" he laughed as he walked out of the room escorted by guards. What was that about I didn't even know what to say to him. He's gone and I'm still scared to death of him.

I turned to Anthony who already had his arms open for me. I sunk into them as I felt my breath I had been holding release. he rocked us back and forth as I let go he did too I turned to Avani who smiled at me.

Avani-"come on we should probably go home the boys will be wondering what's happened"

I nodded as she put her arm around my shoulder and Bryce linking my hand with his.
