Chapter 45

I climbed into the back of the car laying my head against bryces shoulder. He kissed my forehead as we drove.

Savannah-"hey guys" I chirped up causing Avani and Bryce to look at me, Anthony was concentrated on the road.
Anthony-"hey savannah.."
Savannah-"can we get some food" I smiled cheekily at the two who were looking at me. All three of them burst out laughing.
Avani-"I love knowing after every serious situation your mind sprints straight to food"
Anthony-"sure we can get some food where do you wanna go?"
Savannah-"either McDonald's or chick-Fil-a"
Bryce-"by that she means McDonald's but if not chick-fil-a"
Savannah-"correct"

As me and Bryce were talking about food Anthony pulled into a McDonald drive through.

Anthony-"what do you guys want... I know sav wants nuggets"
Avani-"Big Mac"
Bryce-"quarter pounder"
Savannah-"nuggets"

Anthony ordered the food and pulled up so he could eat his too. I shovelled down my food sipping on my coke every now and again. We had all quickly finished it and were on our way back to the sway house.

As we pulled up the door swung open and all the boys came running out to the car.
I laughed slightly as Bryce opened his door and helped me out.

Josh-"are you okay?"
Savannah-"I'm great actually" that was all the confirmation most of them needed other than Blake who somehow didn't get it.
Blake-"so he is in jail?" He questioned having a few of the boys nudge him.
Savannah-"yes he's in jail" now Blake cheered. I laughed shaking my head at the boy as Bryce lifted me up over his shoulder and took me inside.

Bryce-"so what do you want to do"
Savannah-"huh?"
Bryce-"to celebrate.. you deserve something even if he did or didn't get locked away as you were incredibly strong and did that"
I smiled up at the boy with my eyes slightly watery.
Savannah-"let's go go karting" I exclaimed Bryce face lit up even more if that was even possible.
Bryce-"yes that's a great idea"

He ran off into a room with a laptop or computer to go search it up. I giggled and the boy as the others ran inside.

Jaden-"cake!"
Savannah-"what about it"
Quinton-"we ordered some"
Savannah-"okay?" I laughed again these boys really are extra.
Avani-"when's it coming"
Noah-"we can go pick it up anytime after four" I looked down to see it was already two In the after noon.
Griffin-"where did Bryce go"
Savannah-"to book us in at go karting!"
Kio-"wait really!!"
Savannah-"mhm" I smiled at them.

Bryce soon came running back down the stairs.
Bryce-"to the car" he pointed towards the door.
Savannah-"hold up let me change my shoes"

I ran upstairs and got a pair of trainers and ran back down. Bryce instantly picked me up walking me out to the car and siting me down in the back seat. Jaden and josh came in the Uber with us as the others got into different ones.

We had a slot booked in at go karting for three o'clock and we would pick the cake up on the way back through. I smiled as we pulled up to the place quickly jumping over Bryce to get out.

Josh-"someone's excited"
Savannah-"mhm I always wanted to go to one of these"
Jaden-"well come on then" he grabbed my wrist running a head.

The others were already in the lobby of the place and Anthony was sighing us in. The women made us all sign then lead us down to get helmets and the other things on. She soon told us the rules and how to work it and let us go to the karts.

It was a massive track and we had an hour on here on our own. I quickly sat in and buckled up Avani was in the kart next to me.

Avani-"ready?"
Savannah-"yeah!" She laughed at me as we were counted down to go.

We set of me and Avani were in the lead but didn't stay that way for to long Bryce josh and kio all took over at first before Blake Anthony and griffin did. It was hard to control at  and I swerved a few times almost crashing. As soon as I got the hang of it though I speeded off from Avani. I passed Blake who shouted something which I couldn't here over the motors. Soon I past Anthony. Finally better than him! And it didn't take to long until I was in front of griffins kart.

Josh and Bryce were way to far ahead but I could maybe take over kio. If I was lucky that is. He was extremely good at this, I'm guessing all those video games finally paid off.

We were going like that until the 30 minute break where we went to get a drink. I was still in fourth and somehow Noah was in last. Bryce and josh were fighting over first and second and me and kio were just talking about how we found it.

I wished him good luck as I went ans got back into my kart waiting for the countdown again. And we set off. It took me a few moment to get back into the driving and control of it but as soon as I did I picked up speed and I past kio. I was shocked I managed to do so as he was very good at it but I had done.

We continued until our time was up and josh took over Bryce at the last minute earning a lot of curses. I couldn't help but giggle as I climbed out of The kart. The others were out so I went over to josh and Bryce to help them out. Bryce looked annoyed before I came over and his whole facial expressions changed into a light smile. Making me smile back I offered my hand as we walked back towards the others.

We grabbed our bags and phones before thanking the women and leaving to go get our cake.
