Chapter 26

Savannah-"hey I'm savannah"
?-"oh my god! I've heard so much about you, you seem so lovely from what Avanis said. I'm Amelie by the way" she said smiling at me. She was about to give me a hug but noticed that I was soaking wet.
Savannah-"Bryce decided he would chuck me in the sea and I don't have another outfit"
??-"Bryce you dick. What's she going to wear when we go get lunch" I smiled at the other girl who was sticking up for me I think her name was mads.
Savannah-"this is what I mean!" I said laughing at Bryces shocked face.
Bryce-"calm down all of you I have a spear hoodie you will be fine" he said patting my shoulder. I smiled up at him then looked back at the girl who stuck up for me.
Savannah-"thank you..."
??-"your welcome and it's mads"

Me and the girls had been talking and getting to know each other for the past 45 minutes. We were sitting on towels and I had laid my clothes out to try and dry them a bit. A few of the boys were in the sea and the other were running about in the sand kicking around a ball and sometimes chucking it to the other boys in the sea.

It was quite relaxing being able to just forget about the past couple of days and be surrounded by people that care about me. I decided to go back into the sea since my first time wasn't that great of an experience.

I swam over to ant, Quinton and Jaden who were all messing about mainly splashing each other.

Anthony-"back in the sea huh?"
Savannah-"yep." I said popping the p
Jaden-"come here" he said grabbing my hand pulling me towards him. He grabbed me now before he picked me up and through me in the sea. I came up out of the water to hear them laughing.
Savannah-"dickhead"
Anthony swam over to wear I had been thrown and started tickling me.
Savannah-"ant stop" I managed to say in between laughing.
Anthony-"stop cursing"
Savannah-"nooooo"

After a few seconds he finally stopped.

Savannah-"why do you always try and annoy me" I huffed as I swam back over to the group who had grown since I was chucked by Jaden. Bryce, mads and griffin Had come over.

Anthony-"it's easy to annoy you and I'm your older brother that's my job" he said smugly, pushing me slightly. I fell back and straight down into the water as I came back up they were all trying to hold back their laughter.
Savannah-"it's fine laugh" I said sighing as they all burst out into a fit out laughter.

We had all been swimming in the sea for a about five minutes that's when I felt a shock on my left leg. I let out a scream and everyone turned to me quickly with Anthony one side of me and Bryce the other.

Anthony-"what happened sav"
Savannah-"I-I don't know"

I was holding back tears that I felt forming.

Savannah-"I need to get out of the water."
Bryce wrapped his arms around my waist and lifted me up whilst I wrapped my legs around him. He carried me out of the sea everyone behind him.

Savannah-"it hurts" I whispered and Bryce just looked down at me sympathetically. Once I was on the sand all the other cams running over I looked down at my leg and it had four red lines with spots on. I whimpered as Anthony traces his fingers over it.

Amelie-"that looks like a jellyfish sting" she said and most people turned to look at her as some ran to get their phones to search up what to, however, Bryce and Anthony didn't leave my side.

Once we did more research into it and I stopped josh from pissing on it we found out that it should go down in a few days but if I get a fever or start to vomit I should go to the hospital. I told them I didn't want to go back into the sea which they understood. I got up from the sand slowly and walked back over to wear our bags were but before I had even got two steps away Bryce picked me up and carried me over to the spot.

Savannah-"I can walk it just stings a little"
Bryce-"yeah well why should you walk if I can carry you"
Savannah-"you won't be saying that when I have you carrying me around the house"
I said looking down at the rash on my leg.
Bryce-"I wouldn't care sav" he said placing me down on one of the towels I was on earlier.

Most people had now gone back to doing what they were doing or have gone into the sea. Me and Bryce just sat and watched them for a moment until he spoke up.

Bryce-"wanna get ice cream?" He said breaking the silence.
Savannah-"I would love to" I said smiling up at him. He knelt down.
Savannah-"what are you doing?"
Bryce-"I'm going to give you a piggyback ride"
Savannah-"oh okay" I let out a giggle before getting onto his back.

The stinging of the rash was still their but Bryce kept trying to take my mind off it as he walked towards a ice cream shop. Once we had gotten inside he told me too pick whatever I wanted and he would pay. He brought me a cookies and cream ice cream and we sat down at the table. He kept asking how my leg was and making sure I didn't feel sick at all. The way he cares for me always manages to give me butterflies. God this boy is doing something to me.

We were on our way back to the beach me back on his back talking about what else we wanted to this summer. He also kept asking about my birthday which I constantly shut down.

Savannah-"thank you for the ice cream" I said resting my head on top of his.
Bryce-"anytime. You know that right"
Savannah-"know what?"
Bryce-"we can go out anytime you need a break. If it's a walk or to get ice cream I honestly don't care. I enjoy spending time with you" I couldn't help but blush, luckily he couldn't see me.
Savannah-"your the best Bryce. Thank you for always helping me out" I leaned my head down and pecked his cheek which instantly flushed a pinky red.
