Clay woke up to Patches licking his face. She did this every morning. He chuckled and got up. His brain went straight to George. Unintentionally. He's been infatuated with the boy lately. He said he didn't know why but in the back of his mind, he knew.

He has a schoolboy crush, on his best friend. Wonderful position to be in right? It messed with his head every time he tried to get George to say he loved him because George always refused. He knew the boy did, but it was only in a friend way.

George has said numerous times that he loves Clay, but he always said it in private. He thought, Clay knew he loved him and the fans didn't need to know that. Clay understood, but George only liked him as a friend and he wanted every 'I love you' he could get from the boy.

He was painfully aware of the fact that George was straight. The boy even had a girlfriend for god's sake! But that didn't stop Clay from thinking about him twenty-four seven. It was sometimes painful for the people around him though.

He never paid attention; too in his head thinking about George. It was the worst for Sapnap though. Sapnap was well aware of Clay's infatuation with George and he was trying his best to help him get over the boy, but it was no use.

Clay was about to play among us. He had played the game hundreds of times, whether it was with friends or in public lobbies. But this was different. When they played before it wasn't with George.

The other times, he was big brain. He knew what he was doing. But now, George was there to distract him. Last time he still had George on his mind but this time George is actually there, in the call.

He hoped he could focus. He really didn't want anyone to catch on. He only told Sapnap because while they were recording he noticed Clay being quiet when he usually wasn't. Clay just didn't want to mess things up. He isn't a homewrecker.

Instead of dwelling for too long, he decided to just go for it. He unmuted and spoke.
"Hey, are we ready to start?"
"Dream! Yeah yeah, we're all ready." George responded rather quickly. It was probably just because he was doing something with his girlfriend afte-
"We gotta get this started. I gotta be somewhere in half an hour. I'm going on a date." Oh.
"Yeah, yeah I'm starting it."

His discord chimed with a message from Sapnap. They had started the round and Clay hadn't moved for a few seconds. Then he struggled for a way too long amount of time while trying to do card swipe.

Sapnap knew he was thinking about George. When they got to the next meeting Sapnap spoke up with some half-assed excuse.
"Before anyone says anything, after this round Dream and I are gonna be heading out. I've thought of a video idea and we need to work on it." He had surprised everyone, including Clay, but Clay knew it was for his best.
"Yeah. We gotta go."
"Oh, alright. We'll find fill-ins then. It's fine."

They finished the round, crewmates won off tasks. The imposters being Clay and Sapnap. One of them focused on George and the other focused on Clay. They were both sidetracked and didn't really care, they were waiting to leave.

Sapnap spoke immediately once they were alone.
"Clay you need to focus!"
"I know! I'm sorry. I just can't get him out of my head! He's literally the only thing I think about."
"Well, how can I help? People are starting to notice. They think somethings happening with you."
"Well, there is! I can't think! The only thing in my head is him."
"Well, what the hell do we do now?"
"I don't know. I can't focus enough to do shit."
