Shipping (S)

Sapnap, Luke, Clay, George, and Darryl were all in Florida at Clay and Sapnap's new house. They had been there for a while and decided to go to a fair. Luke was kind of anxious. Despite being a people person he didn't like crowds.

Sapnap always helped. The two haven't told anyone yet but they had been together for a few months. Nothing really changed between them. Their dynamic was the same, they acted the same with each other.

Now every so often when they were together in person, their dynamic included cuddles and kisses. They didn't want to tell anyone for fear of being judged. They knew that the fandom was big on shipping and they knew not many people shipped the two.

Luke's POV

The others agreed to go to the fair. Sapnap looked at me for an answer and I nodded a bit. They wanted to have fun and I wasn't about to ruin it. I reluctantly got ready to go and waited for them to be ready.

We got in the car and drove there. Clay and George were in the front and Sapnap, Darryl, and I were in the back. Darryl was in the middle so it's not like I can hold Sapnap's hand. I really hate crowds but they want to go.

We got there and we were walking around for a long while when I looked around the group and noticed Sapnap was gone. I freaked out momentarily.
"Hey guys, where's Sapnap?" George snickered.
"What? You nervous that your boyfriend isn't here to protect you."

My brain was on autopilot and I didn't process before responding.
"I-I mean kinda yeah.." Everyone went silent and I realized what I said.
"U-um. Please disregard what I just said and just help me find him? I hate crowds." They nodded.

Clay paused before yelling.
"Sapnap sucks!" Nothing happened and I freaked out a bit more. Clay huffed.
"Ok then, Punz sucks!" It was silent for a few seconds, enough time to freak me the fuck out when out of the woodwork comes,
"WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU JUST SAY?!"

Relieved I yelled,
"Sapnap! You can't leave me like that." He looked at me confused.
"Luke?" I shook my head.
"I slipped up. Just hug me." He nodded and pulled me into a hug. I buried my face in his hair.
"I missed you."
"I missed you too Luke. I'm sorry I left. I got distracted."
"It's alright. Just don't do it again." He giggled and nodded.

We vibed for a bit before someone cleared their throat from behind me. I froze.
"U-um. Sapnap help." He giggled again.
"It's alright Luke, they aren't gonna act weird. They're our friends. And I'm pretty sure George and Clay are together anyway."
"Ok, but you're picking me up and I'm not facing them." He giggled for the third time.

He picked me up and I clung to him like a koala and buried my face in his neck. He giggled at me with his cute little giggle. Clay was the first to speak.
"When did this happen?" Sapnap huffed.
"When did that happen?" I'm guessing he pointed at Clay and George. I laughed from his hold. He laughed as well.

I turned my head to respond.
"It happened a while ago. We didn't say anything because I didn't want to be told I was ruining the fandom's couples." Sapnap shook his head.
"And I've told him that it doesn't matter what the hell they think because I love him, but he won't listen to me."

I froze again. I got out of his hold and held his face in my hands.
"You love me?" He froze this time and nodded meekly. I'm pretty sure I smiled the biggest smile I've ever done.
"Sapnap I love you." He smiled a smile to match mine and pulled me into a kiss I will never forget. We both smiled into it.

I pulled away and hugged him like my life depended on it. The others were standing there silently. I laughed.
"Ok, love fest over, let's go home yeah?" They all agreed and we went home.

3rd POV

That night ended with the couples cuddling and all of them watching a random movie. What they didn't know, was that maybe a fair wasn't the best place for the two to admit their love for each other.

Time Skip

The five woke up to their phones continuously buzzing. This was normal but this morning it was especially bad. Luke was the first to go on Twitter, immediately closing his phone and throwing it at the wall, effectively waking up the rest of them.

Sapnap, confused, asked,
"Luke, what's wrong baby?"

Luke, on the verge of tears, said,
"Check Twitter."

Sapnap opened his phone to see his timeline consumed by fans telling Luke to go fuck himself for ruining Dreamnap, Karlnap, Karlnapity, all of their ships including the boy. Sapnap scowled.
"Luke, we've talked about this."
"I know." Said boy whimpered, "But that's all they're talking about. None of them like me." Sapnap huffed.
"Luke, do you trust me?" Luke didn't hesitate.
"Of course I do."
"Then come here."

Sapnap got up and went to his setup in his room. He got a stream ready and pulled Luke down onto his lap.
"You trust me?" Luke nodded. Sapnap nodded back and started a stream. Chat flooded with fans talking about Luke and their ships. Sapnap shook his head.

Luke's POV

Sapnap looked down at me hiding my face in his chest.
"Luke.." I shook my head.
"You started the stream, you talk. They aren't here for me."
"Luke."
"What do you want from me."
"Look at chat."
"No."
"Luke."
"Fine."

I sat properly and looked over. Chat was what I expected. Them all acting like I was a bad guy.
"Why did you make me look?"
"Luke were you selective or did you look at all of it?" My face dropped. I looked back over to chat and scanned over every message I could catch.

I shook my head.
"Chat's gonna make me cry."
"Good or bad?"
"You should know. You're the one who made me look." He smiled at me.

He was quiet for a bit and I just hugged him. He laughed and spoke.
"Alright, chat. You guys are assholes." I laughed lightly.
"Luke here didn't ruin anything. Dreamnap is not a thing, and never will be a thing. That's just gross. He's my brother. And the whole thing with Karl and Big Q, that's just us messing around. They are my best friends. So that was never gonna happen. Luke, however, is my boyfriend. He is the one that I love, oh that's nice to say." I laughed at him.
"Love you too Sapnap." He smiled.
"Anyway, chat you guys can fuck off with the shipping shit. I'm never gonna end up with anyone other than Luke." I smiled and decided to clarify.
"The other day, at the fair. That was me about to have a panic attack because I don't like crowds. Sapnap got distracted and we lost him and I freaked out. That was also the first time we said I love you." Sapnap smiled.
"Anyway, that was it, shitheads. Stop being shitheads. I love Luke and none of you are gonna change that so FUCK OFF!"

He ended the stream and looked down at me.
"I love you, Luke. You know that but I really do."
"I know Sapnap and I love you too. I will always love you."
