Acting Pt. 2 (S)

I originally had no plan to make a part two but thank you to arson_glitch asking for a part two! Here you go :)

It had been a few days since the fiasco happened. Karl and Alex had been missing from the public and their friends were worried. Well, more so about Alex than Karl. Karl made a mistake and he was paying the price.

Luke and Sapnap had been talking about what happened and were trying to convince themselves to at least contact Alex. Luke wanted to apologize but Sapnap was worried Alex was in on Karl's plan.

They had hit a lull in the conversation before Luke spoke up again.
"Sapnap I really wanna apologize to him. I don't think he was in on it. Remember he said that he and Karl were doing the same thing so Karl shouldn't talk? I really don't think he was in on it." Sapnap huffed.
"FINE." Luke shook his head.
"Thank you Pandas." Sapnap rolled his eyes at the boy.
"Your welcome baby."

Luke's POV

I looked for Alex's contact and asked him to join their call. Almost immediately Alex was there.
"Yeah..?" I smiled softly.
"Heyyy, Alex. How are you doing?" Said boy sighed.
"Yeah. Yeah, I'm fine. Just frustrated that Karl caused all of this. I'm sorry about what he did." I shook my head.
"No, nonononono. I should apologize. He pissed me off but that doesn't give me the right to out your relationship."

Alex sighed then laughed softly.
"Yeah, yeah it does. He was an asshole and we were already going to post about it so it wasn't really a problem. He's just being butthurt." I sighed.
"Well, I'm still sorry. And, tell him that I'm not angry anymore. More just confused about why he did it."

I heard Sapnap huff.
"Well I'm still angry, but if he apologizes and Luke feels better about this whole thing then fine." Alex laughed.
"Understandable. And I'll tell him. Thank you, guys." I nodded.
"Thank you, Alex."

Alex left the call and I looked over at Sapnap.
"What are we gonna do about the public? We haven't said anything publicly." Sapnap sighed.
"I don't know. How are we supposed to explain if we don't know why Karl did it?"
"I don't know. I guess we wait for him to talk to us then we talk to the public." Sapnap nodded.

3rd POV

The two agreed to wait for Karl to talk to them, then they would talk to the fans. And as they waited, their whole group got progressively worse at posting and streaming. Whether it was full-on streams, or just posting on Twitter. None of them were doing it.

More and more days passed of The Dream Team and Co. not posting anything. The fans were getting restless. More and more comments, tweets, all of it, were coming out of the fans speculating.

'Did the dream team split up?', 'Are they ok?', 'Did something happen to them?', and so, so much more. Even their friends who didn't know what happened were confused by now. MCYT fans were causing chaos and no one knew what to do about it.

Luke's POV

I had skipped the last pummel party Saturday, I can't do it again. You see after what happened with Karl and me accidentally outing Sapnap and me, I skipped a game night. I wasn't going to be able to focus.

This week, however, I decided I would participate. I love playing with them and I had missed doing it last week. When they asked, I told them I'd be there and prepared myself for streaming. All of us had been missing. I'm sure me streaming will be a surprise.

I set up my stream and put it on the starting soon screen. I found a song and played it. I joined the vc and deafened. I looked at my stream and unmuted.
"Hey, guys. So I know, a lot of us have been absent recently, and things will be explained, but that's not why I'm here. It's Saturday, meaning, pummel party! I missed last week, so I decided I'd play this week. So let's do this."

I unmuted and said hello. We got started and played for a while. I, of course, played Shivers during one of the mini-games. It wouldn't be a pummel party Saturday without that song. Oh and also a shotgun. But I decided to wait for that.

We had played for a while, played some mini-games, before I got a question. We had hit a lull in the conversation when Red spoke up.
"Hey Punz, chat has been asking me to ask you what's up with the dream team and all of you." I huffed.
"Um, simple explanation, I outed my relationship with Sapnap, Karl did some things and all of us have been AWOL. We're trying to figure things out privately before we do anything publicly. Karl has been AWOL from us and the public, so we're just waiting for him."

The call went quiet for a second before someone joined it and a quiet gravelly voice spoke up.
"Luke, um, can I talk to you?" It took my brain a second to process that this was Karl's voice.
"Um! Yeah, yeah, give me a second to end stream, 'nd then yeah totally."

I deafened and ended my stream quickly, undeafening to chaos in the call.
"HEY! What the fuck happened while I ended my stream?!" I looked at who was in the call and I saw Clay, George, Sapnap, Karl, Alex, and everyone that was previously there.
"Alright, you know what, don't answer that, all of you who are streaming, either leave or end because it seems we're talking now, so if you would?"

The ones who were streaming ended their streams and muted just to listen. I sighed and spoke first.
"So I'm sure all of us are curious. But I wanna talk first. So, Karl, I'm not in any way angry at you. I just wanna know why you did it. And I'm sorry to both you and Alex about outing you. I was angry and I acted irrationally. I had no right."

It was quiet before Karl sighed.
"I only really did it because Sapnap had been ignoring me and I didn't know why. Then I find out you two are together and I got angry because you hid it from everyone." Alex huffed.
"Karl we did the same thing! We didn't tell anyone until Luke picked up on it! So you had no right!" Karl sighed again.
"Don't you think I know that! It was stupid and I feel like an idiot. But I can't change it!"

It was quiet again when Sapnap spoke,
"Alex, Luke has accepted what happened, and he doesn't care anymore. And I'm getting over it. I understand that you're frustrated with him, but he's your boyfriend. He was mad, he did something stupid, now we're making amends." Alex sighed.
"Right. Sorry."

I shook my head.
"Can we come to the conclusion that we're all sorry? That we all made mistakes, and we're ready to move on?" I heard agreements from everyone.
"Alright. How about we agree to stream sometime this week and explain everything to them? Because I'm tired and I'd like to sleep." Agreements came from everyone.

3rd POV

Everyone left the call gradually, the couples sleep calling, the friends planning things, the fans speculating. The fans went insane after seeing the clip of Luke explaining what happened. They were blowing things out of proportion and speculating, waiting for them to talk publicly.
