Thank you very much to LaazLaaz for the request. Also, I altered it a bit, I didn't intend to it just kinda happened, but I think you'll like it. And if you don't I'm very sorry. I can do a part two where they all meet up again and then what you requested happens if you'd like. Just ask. <3
Luke had never imagined that he would be here. After quarantine had ended, and the whole group got the vaccine they had agreed to meet up at Clay and Sapnap's house. The two had proposed the idea and everyone agreed.
And now, they were here, at the house, sitting, talking. Luke almost wanted to laugh. He didn't really believe he was here. Obviously, Clay and Sapnap were there, but George, Ant, Karl, Alex, and himself, were all sitting there as well.
Apparently Luke had been in his head too much.
"Luke? You good man?" Alex asked. Luke shook his head.
"Yeah, yeah just really kinda hit me, that we're all here right now," Luke muttered with an uneasy smile. Karl smiled widely.
"I know right?! I can't believe we're all here."
The group went right back to talking. But Luke went back to his head. He kinda didn't understand why he was here. The group was all so close, and they were only missing Bad, but he was busy.
The group was so close, that if you went on the discord for the server at any time you'd see at least a few of them in a call. So Luke really didn't understand why he was here. Or maybe he did. It was because of Sapnap.
Luke felt like the only reason he was there was his boyfriend. Sapnap was so excited when he called Luke. They spent all night on call talking. They fell asleep on that call. Luke was awake longer and watched Sapnap with adoration till he fell asleep.
So when Sapnap actually invited him he just couldn't say no. He couldn't. But now he didn't wanna be there. He zoned back into the conversation.
"I'm so disappointed that Bad couldn't come. I was so excited to see him." Come on. That didn't help. He closed his eyes and willed himself not to cry.
Out of the blue, quietly,
"Luke? Are you sure you're ok?" That was Sapnap. Luke silently cursed the boy for being able to read him. He opened his eyes and looked at the boy.
"Yeah, I'm alright. Just.." He sighed. "Sapnap can I talk to you? In private? Please?" Sapnap's eyebrows furrowed,
"Yeah come on."
The two walked to what Luke assumed to be Sapnap's room. They stopped in the middle of the room and Sapnap faced Luke. He brought his hands up and cupped Luke's face. Luke almost started crying. He leaned down and put his forehead on Sapnap's.
He sniffed and Sapnap started talking.
"What's wrong Punzo?" Luke closed his eyes.
"I don't belong here, Bambi. The only person, who wants me here, is you." Sapnap frowned.
"Punzo that's not true. They all want you here. You just need to listen. You sat out there and were in your head the whole time." Luke shook his head.
"Bambi, I did listen, and all I heard, was them talking to each other, and talking about how Bad couldn't come."
Sapnap let go and pulled Luke to the living room.
"Bambi! What are you doing." Luke pulled back. "I'm not going in there. I just wanna go home. Or you know, go cuddle with you." Sapnap looked back at the boy.
"Fine. We'll go cuddle. But tomorrow, I want you and I to talk to them. And actually have a conversation about this. Ok?" There was no arguing with Sapnap once he set his mind to something. Luke sighed.
"Fine Bambi."
Sapnap smiled and they went to his room. It was around eleven at night so they deemed it late enough to sleep. Although the two laid there for a good few hours just staring at each other, appreciating the fact that they were there. Together.
Time Skip
Luke woke up first, but he didn't move. He sat admiring Sapnap for a long while before he gently shook the boy.
"Sap, c'mon. Wake up, Bambi. The others are already up. I can hear them." Sapnap shifted before he sat up.
They sat in silence for a while, waking up, before Sapnap pulled them downstairs. Everyone looked up when the two walked in. Luke flushed slightly while Sapnap simply grabbed bowls and silverware for them.
He looked over the cereal.
"Which cereal do you want Punzo?" Luke looked over at the boy and focused on him, forgetting the others were there.
"Whichever you want Bambi." He smiled small at his boyfriend who in turn grabbed the cereal and sat next to him.
The two ate their cereal in silence before Sapnap seemed to register the slip-up. His jaw dropped.
"Punzo?" He whimpered. Luke's head snapped to him.
"What's up Bambi?" He asked, his brows furrowed.
Sapnap said nothing but raised his hand to point at the others. Luke's brows furrowed further till he looked at the others. Clay's brows were raised but he looked happy. George and Ant were sitting there unphased on their phones, and Karl and Alex looked like they wanted to scream.
Luke's eyes widened. His mouth opened but no words came out. Tears welled in his eyes.
"I- I shouldn't be here." The boy stood up and ran up to Sapnap's room where his stuff was. Sapnap looked after his boyfriend.
He took a deep breath. He looked at the others.
"Can you all calm down enough to make him calm, please? You two look like you wanna scream," he muttered pointing between Karl and Alex.
Karl and Alex both opened their mouths to speak but Clay interrupted them.
"Yeah, we'll be calm, but you should go to him before he leaves." Sapnap nodded. Then George spoke up.
"Hey Sap, tell him he does belong here. Just because we don't talk to him as much anymore, and Bad couldn't come, doesn't mean we don't want him here."
Sapnap stopped for a second, pondering how George figured all that out before he just nodded and went after Luke. He found the boy on his bed staring into space. He sighed and sat behind him. He circled his arms around him and laid down pulling Luke with him.
He sat in silence for a minute before speaking,
"Y'know Karl and Alex looked happy, and the others were indifferent. And you do belong here. George said so himself. Punzo, you should be here, and that's why you're here." Luke sighed.
"You promise?" Sapnap smiled.
"Course I do."
The two sat together silently for a while longer when they decided they were ready to go downstairs. The others apologized and so did Luke. They decided a movie marathon was the best plan for the day.
They gathered the movies, the blankets, the pillows, the snacks, all of it, and settled down to watch. Clay and George were sitting on the loveseat, Karl, Alex, and Ant were on the couch, and Luke and Sapnap were on the floor cuddled in lots of blankets together.
The seven spent a week together and it was one of the best weeks of their lives. They spent every day doing something, whether it was going to the water, watching tv, playing board games, any of it, they would never forget that trip.
Enjoy :) - Pidge
