So I don't watch a lot of Zed, but I've seen a bit, and I might watch more as I write this, so here :)

Zedaph had no idea where he was. One minute he was sitting in his base, figuring out how to map the sun with redstone lamps, and the next he was sitting on the ground, encased by obsidian.

His mind first went to Tango and Impulse, but they had done this already, they wouldn't do it again. So he tentatively looked around before his eyes landed on a huddled figure in the corner. He continued to look around and found several cats, signs marked with gibberish, and a jukebox, playing Mellohi.

He frowned. Mellohi was probably one of the more mundane discs. He sighed and spoke up.
"Uh, hello? Who are you? My name is Zedaph, but you can just call me Zed..?" The figure jerked its head up, its eyes were purple.

Zed's eyes widened.
"You're eyes are purple. I thought I was the only one.." The figure looked into his eyes, seeing the purple, and uncurled a bit, which revealed a grass block, which the figure handed to Zed.

Zed looked at the grass and gently took it. Players had brown, black, green, or blue eyes. Hybrids had different color eyes. It took a while for Zed to figure it out, but he was an enderman hybrid. And it seemed that this kid was as well.

He crouched and looked at the boy.
"So what's going on bud? Why are you here alone?" Zed was concerned. This kid was alone in a room of obsidian with animals and a mundane disc and his tears seemed to leave trails.

The boy shook.
"He's in my head again." He whimpered out. Zed's brows furrowed.
"Who's in your head?"
"D-dr-" Zed frowned.
"How about you put it on a sign?"

Zed grabbed a sign and handed it to the boy. The boy set the sign down and wrote
'Dream'  Zed's brow furrowed again.
"Buddy, what sever are we on?"
"Th-the Dream SMP..?"

Zed's eyes widened.
"Uh oh. Ok, what's your name bud?"
"Ranboo."
"Ok, Ranboo, my admin, from my server is bound to realize that I'm gone, and once he does, he'll open a portal, and then I'll be able to go home,"

The boy, Ranboo, reached out reflexively and grabbed Zed's arm. Zed huffed out a laugh.
"And I can take you with me." Ranboo nodded vigorously.
"P-please." Zed smiled.
"Course. I think you'll like Hermitcraft a lot more than here."

As if on cue, a portal opened on the far wall. Ranboo jumped and Zed laughed a bit, making Ranboo laugh. Zed grabbed Ranboo's hand and gently guided him to the portal and walked through.

Zed walked out of the portal, hand still in Ranboo's. In front of him stood every, single, hermit. Zed breathed out.
"Hi.."

No one spoke or moved until Xisuma pointed behind Zed.
"What's that." Zed's brow furrowed.
"His name, is Ranboo, and he's from the Dream SMP. He's a kid, and an enderman hybrid at that. I wasn't just gonna leave him there."

Everyone's brows furrowed besides Xisuma's and Tango's. They were the only two that knew Zed was a hybrid. Grian spoke first.
"What does it matter that he's a hybrid?" Zed sighed.
"I'm an enderman hybrid. And I've never seen, met, or even heard, of another. I wasn't just gonna leave him there. Do you know how many wars that server has? Plus I think their admin somehow got into Ranboo's head."

No one said anything until Ranboo timidly spoke.
"Uh, please don't send me back. They, burned my house, killed my pets, roped me into wars, and manipulated me. Please don't send me back." His grip on Zed's hand tightened.

Zed pulled the small enderman hybrid into a hug and glared at the admin. Xisuma sighed.
"Fine, but Zed you're responsible for him."

Time Skip

Ranboo had fit in just fine. He was still timid, and never really spoke unless he was comfortable, but he was hardly ever uncomfortable. He mostly stuck around Zed, and occasionally Tango. The two were basically his parents now.

Today though, they were gonna teach him how to fly. He was so scared, but he trusted Zed and he was learning to trust Tango as well. He had already given a grass block to Zed, and he had yet to give one to anyone else.

They had given him an elytra and rockets and were waiting for him to fly. They waited patiently, knowing he would do it when he was ready. And so he jumped and activated a rocket. And he immediately regretted it.

He launched so fast that he lost his balance and started falling. He screamed. Tango shot into motion. He jumped and shot a rocket hoping to save the falling enderman hybrid. He just barely grabbed the boy's hand and pulled him to him. He barrel-rolled into the ground and curled around the boy.

They sat there for a moment before Zed screamed. He ran to the two and pulled them up. He cupped Ranboo's face and checked him over before he turned to his boyfriend who smiled at him.

The two were fine, and they ended the day with Ranboo running outside, freaking out Zed in the process, grabbing a grass block, and gently holding it out to Tango. Tango, who had gotten one from Zed as well, gently took the block and ruffled Ranboo's hair.

He smiled.
"Thank you, Rainbow." Ranboo flushed at the nickname and buried himself between the two in the two beds pushed together. The three fell asleep only to be found the next morning by Xisuma who smiled. He was glad he let the boy stay.

This was my first shot at anyone from Hermitcraft but I really, really like this one. Enjoy :) - Pidge
