Hair Tie (S)

Techno and Sapnap had been living together for a while now. Along with Clay for a little bit. When Clay asked Sapnap to move in, he did not expect Sapnap to ask if he could bring his roommate, much less the roommate being Technoblade.

Now it was common for all of them to find random hair ties or bandanas all around the house. Techno, true to his character, has long, soft pink hair. He doesn't remember when he did it, or why, but his sister likes it so he keeps it. He also really likes it when Sapnap braids it.

Sapnap, for most of his life, had short brown hair, but at some point, he thinks it was for Halloween, he grew it out and died it darker, close to black, and he often bought different bandanas to keep it out of his eyes.

Now the least expected for the three, Clay's hair was short on the side, with the long top, that he usually has pulled back into a little bun. He doesn't remember when or why he did it either, but he likes it so he keeps it as well.

The most common thing in the house, besides finding hair ties everywhere, is definitely seeing Sapnap braid Techno's hair. The two may only have been in the house for a few weeks, but Clay could definitely tell something was going on between the two.

This leads us to where the three are now. Eating a dinner of ramen. They ate ramen a lot. And take out. But either way, the couple, oop sorry, Techno and Sapnap, did not expect Clay to ask this question.

Techno's POV

We were sitting in silence like always when Clay broke it.
"What is up with you two?" I looked up surprised. Then I looked at Sapnap. I realized that we were sitting shoulder to shoulder, with our legs intertwined. I flushed and pulled myself away.

Sapnap's POV

Techno pulled away, taking the heat with him. He shuffled uncomfortably for a bit before he stood up abruptly and went up to his room. I frowned. Confrontation was not his strong suit. I need to go after him.

I sighed and looked at Clay.
"He might, have a panic attack, I need to go after him." He looked at me alarmedly and apologetically and nodded.
"Yeah, yeah go." He shooed me off.

I rushed up the stairs to Techno's room to find him sitting on his bed with his knees pulled up to his chest. I could see the emotions running through his eyes. I sat on the bed and pulled his knees down.

Once his legs were straight I wrapped his arms around me and hugged him.
"You know he's not gonna think any differently of us. And you know he was just curious. He didn't mean it like that." He nodded.

I pulled back to see the emotions slowing down.
"There you go. It's gonna be alright. You know he didn't mean it. Granted, he's not the greatest at wording things." He laughed softly. He sniffed.
"We can go back now. And you know, maybe we can have an office now." I laughed.

We had talked about how if and when we told Clay, we could take one of the rooms and make the other into an extra office. I grabbed his hand and gently walked down the stairs not wanting to scare Techno.

Once we got back to the kitchen Clay hopped up.
"I am so sorry. I never meant to cause anything, I was just curious." Techno laughed a bit.
"It's fine Clay. I was just overwhelmed. I wasn't expecting it." Clay sighed.
"Thank god. So um, can I ask again,"

Techno laughed again.
"Yes, Clay we are dating. For what?" He looked at me. "Five months?" I nodded. Clay's mouth dropped.
"Are you kidding?" We laughed.
"Nope." He looked down.

It was quiet for like three minutes before he started laughing. We looked at him like he was crazy. Confused I muttered,
"Clay?" He stopped.
"Sorry, I just thought about the last five months and realized that this makes total sense."

3rd POV

The three got by that moment and moved Sapnap's stuff to Techno's room and made his old room into an office for the two. They never streamed at the same time so it worked. But they really should have seen it coming that they would mix up their schedules at least once.

Sapnap's POV

I decided to stream, Techno wasn't supposed to be streaming so I decided to just speedrun. I got into a call with Clay, he had said he wanted to speedrun and stream too. I had started my stream and was in the middle of a speedrun vibing.

A dono came through.
'Thank you for being my comfort streamer. Every time I feel down you manage to bring my mood up <3'
"Aww thank you for saying that. You guys always manage to make my days." I smiled at the camera. I focused back on the game when I heard my door open.

I whipped my head around and sucked in a breath. I was stunned and didn't know what to say.
"Hi-" He stopped. I could see the emotions start to run.
"Techno," He shook his head and backed up. I stood up slowly as to not scare him.

He continued to back up.
"Ok, ok, baby breath." I walked to him and grabbed his hands. I exaggerated my breaths. He focused his eyes on mine and steadied his breath.
"I know this is scary, trust me I know, but we gotta face it. Do you think you can do that for me?"

He hesitated but slowly nodded. I smiled softly.
"There we go, do you wanna be in the camera view?" He shrugged. I nodded and gently pulled him with me.

I pulled his chair over and we sat down. I sighed and put my headphones on to hear Clay ask,
"Should I end my stream?" I contemplated.
"No, we're gonna face this." I looked over at Techno, the emotions still swimming in his eyes. I frowned.

I unplugged my headphones and routed the sound through my speakers. I contemplated how to go about this. I looked over at Techno. He huffed.
"Just get on with it." My frown deepened.
"Techno," He shook his head, got up, and left. I sighed.
"Nevermind Clay, just, just end." He made a noise of agreement and we ended.

How the hell do I do this?

I left this one open-ended purposefully, I think I need more practice with different endings, but I'd gladly write a second part if you guys want it. Also, my parents just left me home alone for a week and I've got some separation anxiety, so if I don't upload for a while it's because of that. Enjoy :) - Pidge
