ok so, i forgot to remember that bucky and loki are such softies.
so here's how it'd go down.
first, we get into the car. steve, thor, loki, bucky, and me. i volunteer myself for the middle, since these men are so tall and pretty, and that makes me nervous.
we'd be on our way, i'd be trying to take up the least amount of space actually possible, not making a noise, trying not to be annoying or embarrassing.
we'd make a few stops, poptarts for thor, bathroom, etc. i start to become a little less nervous, i'd move a bit more, speak a little.
then the sun goes down, and the nervousness goes back up again. thor has been asleep for a while, loki fell asleep five minutes ago, bucky is dozing, on and off. steve is going strong with a nitro cold brew with shots of espresso, and pure spite. he hasn't slept in days.
i refuse to sleep, not wanting to embarrass myself, or sleeptalk, or anything. i don't want to have to feel the embarrassment of waking up to one of these beautiful people staring down at me, wondering what in hell was i doing. steve is worried. "kid," he tells me, "you need to sleep."
"no sir," i say, nervous out of my mind, "i'm ok, thank you for being, worried, mr. america."
steve gives up, despite being able to do this all day. against my better judgement, i fall asleep. bucky, who has been dozing off, wakes up. he sees my head, hanging low. this isn't good for her neck, he thinks.
he gently takes my head, and puts it on his shoulder, before crossing his arms and falling back asleep.
i wake up, super embarrassed. bucky says it's ok, makes me feel better. we keep driving. i get more comfortable, i start talking to them a little more. we become friends. loki, bucky, and i play concentration, i win.
we reach our destination. we have a lovely time.
when we get back, we are all best friends, the end.
