ok so i was walking to karate, getting ready to put my bag down under the bench (cause they don't want us having them inside) and somebody walks out, but i can't see them just yet.
and this said person is talking, and i'm like, "wait i've heard that voice before" and out walks, my crush, and his dad, who i hadn't seen in MONTHS cause corona, and i actually froze.
here's how the conversation went,
him- "oh hi soph" (everybody there calls me soph) me- "hi ---" his dad- "hi sophie, how are you doing?" me- "good, how are you?" his dad- "good." him- "nice belt" (i got a new one.) me- "thanks"
then i stuff my shoes into my bag, shove it under the bench, and walk past them, and i go,
"well, bye ---"
and he goes,
"bye!"
and i proceed to walk in, heart pounding and probably blushing a lot, and i think to myself.
"howdid his dad know my name?" cause i've never told him my name.
and then i think,
"is it because he talks about me?"
and idk if it was just like, him asking who's the girl he's always partners with or some shit, but...
and i was happy.
