Episode 28 - You Can't Win

The group left Marisia's house and prepared to make a wide search. The island wasn't that big, but still had a lot of territory to cover.

Leo: We're going to split up into two teams. Team Light and Team Dark.

Nana: Who came up with those names? This is not a Saturday morning cartoon.

Marisia and Jade gave sad eyes to Nana as they were the ones who thought about those names.

Jade: You don't like our team names...?

Nana: I just found them... Silly. Don't take it personally.

Leo: Guys, focus.

Sora: Yes.. I'd like to be on Allen's Team..

Silver: I'd not like to be on Sora's Team. Don't wanna see that go down

Leo: Doesn't matter, remember, we have one of the most powerful Saisem units loose on this island. We don't know her intentions, why she didn't try to fight us and what she plans.

Delph: I'm still with her sword, but, as we heard from Luiz backstory episode, she is very gifted in strength and hand to hand combat.

The skies were getting cloudy again, grey clouds took over the sky.

Leo: Forget about our personal skirmishes and struggles, forget about your petty fights, our focus now is find and contain Ran. Terminate her if she becomes too much of a threat to us.

Luiz: No one playing hero, all right? Stay together, protect each other. Despite everything, we're still a team.

Jade: Understood. I'll paint up some tranqs for everyone, except Delph cuz you know, he has one.

Leo: Sora, Allen, Jade, and Nana are going with Marisia in team Light.

Marisia: Luiz, Paris, Delph and Silver are going with Leo in team Dark.

Silver: Yes ma'am!

Sora: Alright, I'm on it.

Jade: Si, déjamelo a mí.

Delph: Wait, I have an objection.

Leo: What is it?

Delph: Jade in the same team as Allen? I know Sora is going too, but we all know what Allen would do if Ran kidnapped Jade.

Leo: What do you propose?

Delph: I promised Jade that, if we have to kill her, then I would do it.

They all look at Delph, stunned by that information.

Leo: Delph...

Luiz: Let's be real here, Allen would refuse to not be in the same team as Jade.

Delph: So put me in their team, then!

Leo: No, I purposely chose Nana to be on their team. She's the strongest member between all of us, Luiz and Paris are heavy hitters, but they both couldn't reach Nana's level.

Delph: So you are...

Leo: Balancing things out, yes.

Jade: I have a feeling that if the enemy did take me, it would be worse than death....

Leo: Enough! We have to hurry, now.

Marisia: Don't worry, Delph. Me and Nana will take care of everything, Sora will keep an eye on Allen as well.

Delph: All right...

Marisia: Team Light will go to the east side of the island while team Dark will do the opposite. We'll meet at the center of the island, in the abandoned tower.
