2 days before the final raid, there was this atmosphere of anticipation.

More and more civilians with powers were joining the liberation army, even the normal people were coming in for support roles too.

It's like the world knew they could win now, everyone believed in that.

In the streets, Jade was going for a stroll alone. She needed to be alone, she wanted to be alone. The loss of her brother was still a big blow for her, but she knew she had to overcome it for the good of the team.

But honestly, this was getting to her so bad that she was even considering not taking part in the russian raid.

She couldn't fight head on, she wasn't a guardian and she had this whole situation bringing her morale down, what else is there?

Fusion? The others can do it.

Moral support? Their morale is high enough already.

Saisem needed to be stopped, yet she felt like she wasn't what the team needed right now.

She finished eating a snack at a bakery and started to walk back, however she was stopped by a fan with black hair.

???: Jade Martinez? Oh my god! It's really you!

The fan was wearing a hoodie and a safety mask on her mouth up to her nose, probably she had a cold or something, but Jade still tried to act nice.

She gave a smile to the fan.

Jade: Si, It's me. It's always nice to meet a fan.

???: Can I give you a handshake? Please?

Jade didn't think much, so gave her hand, however the fan electrocuted her when their hands met, making Jade pass out.

When she woke up, she was tied up on the second floor of an unfinished building. She couldn't move, but could still talk, so naturally she screamed for help, yet nobody came.

She looked in front of her and the fan came walking, removing her hoodie and mask, showing she was that Fake Jade that was separated from Krystallus' mind.

Jade looked at her, and she wasn't mad but looked at her with a face that said, I'm sorry.

"Jade": Hey there, good looking. Sorry for the deception, but needed some privacy time.

Jade tried to nod, but again couldn't move.

The fake Jade had some static coming from her whole body, almost like she was an electric wraith.

"Jade": The whole world is about to change, so naturally people stopped working to be with their families or fight, which gave us this perfect construction site, so kind of them.

Jade: Why can't I move?

She thought, but still listened to "Jade".

"Jade": Because I don't want you to run, fight or do you special paint stuff. I know all your moves, you know.

She twitched a little.

"Jade": Jade Martinez, meet Jade Mitosis!

Jade: You can hear my thoughts? Neat. Also, Clever name you picked. I like it.

She replied, she also didn't keep up the fake cheeriness while the fake Jade walked around in circles.

"Jade": You see, there are rules in this universe. Rules that the gods broke and are now all dead because of it. Like, no teleportation, no space and time manipulation and no cloning. But who would have known that Krystallus' power of materializing illusions and thoughts into reality would even make me real?
