Episode 77 - You're Getting Old

After their victory, they got famous for saving the world and the multiverse.

They stayed in the IBI as their work still wasn't done. After all, with the big power vacuum left by their kings and their leader, remaining Saisem forces still persisted.

During this time, some began to leave back to their countries to pursue their dreams.

The first ones to leave were Harper and Delph, both getting a job opportunity in the "Sunnyvale Institute", a new research and technology center created by Elon Musk to turn and use Saisem and IBI technology to help the world.

Then, Hanji and Paris. She returned with him to her clan, where they loved and accepted him as one of their own. Hanji was glad to be back and Paris was genuinely happy again to have his own people to call family.

Then, Emily and Leo went back to Germany. She still had her responsibility as the alpha of her neighborhood and Leo helped as her right hand man until he went to college. 

As the campus was not far, they still see each other almost daily.

Only Allen, Jade, Nana, Luiz and Flora stayed in Luminary to keep the rest of the job.

Luminary was only doing the clean up after the "party" had ended and were mostly helping  with damage control, but they all knew that the team was going to disband one day.

Now 2 years have passed since Luminary took down VoidCm and they are just finishing in taking down all Saisem's stragglers for good, despite 6 members leaving.

Despite all that, the world was finally free. For good.

November 26th 2020

The Luminary team room in HQ, Allen and Jade woke up in the team's bedroom.

Now that most of the members left, they basically only had to share the bedroom with Flora, but she willingly chose to sleep on the couch to give them some privacy.

They leave the bedroom and see Flora sleeping like a drunk angel, which is strange as Flora didn't have the habit of drinking.

Flora: No... No... Don't turn me into a marketable plushie...

Before they woke her up, Luiz and Nana entered the team room in a hurry.

Luiz: Guys, Sorry!

Nana: We're late!

Allen: What are you two talking about? You two got here earlier actually.

Luiz: We did?

Nana: Shoot... I forgot that daylight savings time ended...

Nana said that while holding her forehead.

Allen: The twins are really killing you, right?

Allen laughed with Jade at that rhetorical question

Jade: Did you get a sitter for them?

Nana: Our fathers are taking care of them.

Luiz: Unfortunate that my monsters are not eligible for babysitting.

Nana: Yeah, but both like doing and it's free.

Luiz: I know, I know, I just don't want to abuse their kindness.

Nana: Relax, they both like to take care of their granddaughters.

Allen: Luiz, what did we talk about?

Luiz: Fiiiine. Unfortunate that my "Blueberries" are not eligible for babysitting.

Flora woke up.
