With at least two hours before her battle, Nana was still training to learn the Heart Guardian skill.

Nana: Phewy, it's a puzzle...

Ki: Keep on, you're almost there.

Nana: Hey, your element isn't exactly my specialty.

Ki: It's not about your element, it's about your effort. A Guardian skill can be used by any power, it's the formula that is the same.

Nana: Right.

Ki: Are you still thinking about your family?

Nana: Uh huh.

Ki: You might be overthinking it... But you're right. No one's happy to know something bad happened to their family members.

Nana: Is it ok to hurt the people you love if you're following a goal?

Ki: You seem to have a lot on your mind. Keep hitting me, it will help.

Nana: Oh! Great idea!

Ki: That should be my line. Let's see if you've gotten any better after the trial.

Nana: Ok! I won't go easy on you!

Nana was surprised by how resilient Ki was, defending her attacks with great defense.

Ki: Nana, how does it feel like to fight with Luminary?

Nana: It's like they can read my mind. They always know where to go or what to do and when to say 'Help!' or 'I'll Help!'

Ki: Is that so? That must be because they've matched with your pace. They are experienced fighters.

Nana: Oh, really? Yeah, don't tell them I said that, but they are amazing. They are much more mature as well, rarely fighting anymore.

Somewhere both Jade and Allen sneezed.

Ki: Haha. Sometimes people can fight for such trivial things.

Nana: That's kinda what always concerned me at the start, really. If people fight over things like that, what if I get into a fight? I mean, I got into a fight on that team multiple times with a certain someone, sometimes even thought about leaving.

Ki: Yet, you stayed. Maybe because you had fun spending time with them?

Nana: I guess... They are still a bunch of noodle heads, but everyone there is really nice and has their priorities straight.

Ki: Do you want to be always with them?

Nana: Not sure. But it's not like we can always stay together because we want to. Everyone there has their goals and even if we lose the competition, the war will end someday, right? We'll have to go our separate ways one day, right?

Ki: But you can always tell them what you think.

Nana: But what if we fight because of that?

Ki: It doesn't always lead to a fight just because you want something different. History may be painted by war, but it's conversation and understanding that are at the heart of our lives. If everyone always fought because we thought differently, we wouldn't be together right now.

Nana stops attacking Ki.

Ki: As long as the goals are not opposing each other, there must be an intersection. Even if it's not the same, it can be similar. I'm sure you have one too. Nana, I don't want you to regret not saying anything. It's just as you said, there's not enough time, even when we always get along.

Nana scratches her head.

Nana: Can I ask you something personal?

Ki: Sure, fire it away.
