The palace's organ starts playing that stereotypical wedding sound as Nana comes in, walking slowly and holding a bouquet. For a second Luiz forgets everything that happened when looking at how beautiful his bride was, even Luminary are surprised, as were the guests and the servant that did all the job preparing her watches from the corner, feeling proud of her job. Emily waves her hands and flowers start to appear behind Nana's every step.

But, most importantly, looking at her mate and her friends together, Nana looks happy. Genuinely happy.

Nana: Hey.

Luiz: Whoa... Just... Whoa...

Nana: You are not bad either.

The ceremony went on as planned while Alouetta was desperately trying to keep her mother as far as she possibly could, attacking her again and again. Dragons dueling in the air was common so nobody really cared.

Christine: Why are you getting in my way?!

Alouetta: From all the moments... All the moments for you to appear in her life again... You had to pick this one?! Threatening normal humans?!

Christine: I didn't put you two into this world just so you could breed with filthy humans and taint our pure bloodline!

Alouetta: Even so! This wedding isn't just about them! We need Nana to be queen so the dragons can join the IBI and leave Saisem's side! There's much more at stake here!

Christine: I would rather watch this world crash and burn than seeing my offspring intermingle with humans!

Alouetta: Why do you hate them so much!?

Christine: Because they are inferior to us!

She looks down, sighs and looks at her daughter.

Christine: Humans never had true power, only the illusion of it. They have now because we allowed them to taint us! We, dragons, perfect beings in every way!

Christine flies closer to Alouetta.

Christine: And here is the real secret about powers: they don't want it. The responsibility is too great to bear. It's why they are so quick to fall in line as soon as someone else takes charge. They WANT to be told what to do. They YEARN for it. Little wonder that, since all mankind was BUILD to SERVE.

Alouetta: Tell that to all of Saisem!!

Christine makes ice appear around her arms.

Christine: Now, stand aside. Last warning.

Alouetta did the same.

Alouetta: I'd rather die than let you ruin this for her.

Christine: And why do you care? Weren't you trying to kill her and her pathetic friends last December?

Alouetta: I was blinded! Blinded by the ideals you drilled into my head! But I learned, you are wrong!

Christine: I was wrong?! I raised you two alone in the best way possible, forged you both into beings worthy of our family's name! Without me you are nothing!

Alouetta: We weren't your children!! We were your slaves, your weapons!!

Christine: And still had a better life than most other young dragons.

Alouetta: I'd rather have had a life like those other young dragons, you know, having a mother who loved me. Much better than living with a mother who never cared for my sister's feelings, for my feelings...
