Episode 49 - The Guardian of Spirit Pt 1

Moskow, Russia, Saisem's Main Research Center.

The tan skinned boy woke up in his bedroom, more like a pretty jail cell, as the lights turned on and the door opened.

"Jade": Yes. Always like this. Every Time your powers start to resurface they come. They come to weaken you.

The boy raised his torso and stood sitting in the bed.

Nurse: Krystallus! You're awake! It's time for your dinner dear.

"Jade": See? They put it in your food.

Krys: Maybe they didn't today...

"Jade": Pff... Give me a break...

Nurse: Who are you talking to, Krys?

Krys: My sister, of course. She's right there.

Krystallus points to the bedroom's wall and the nurse sees nothing.

Nurse: My dear boy, there's no one here, but us.

"Jade" appears on her knees on Krystallus' bed.

"Jade": That's what she wants you to believe, brother. That's the reason she keeps giving you these medications! Look at her!

Krystallus looks at the nurse preparing a syringe.

Krys: You're not going to sting me today, right?

Nurse: It's for your own good, my boy.

"Jade": No, it's fucking not! Don't take this shit from her, brother! You're powerful! They fear this!

Krys: I don't want to be stinged again... I want to go home...

Nurse: We already talked about that. You're going home when you stop being ill.

"Jade": You are not ill. Brother...

"Jade" comes closer and starts whispering in Krystallus' ear.

"Jade": Aren't you tired of being nice? Don't you just wanna go apeshit?

Krystallus looked at the nurse moving closer with the syringe and he felt such fear, such terror that his powers made everything move in slow motion, except him, giving him time to stand up, but he was still weakened so the effects quickly faded.

Nurse: Krystallus, be a good boy and take your medicine. How else will you get better and go back home?

"Jade": They won't set you free, brother. You have no other choice. Neutralize her... Get rid of her...

He raises her arms and the nurse's eyes get wide in fear.

"Jade": Kill her.

Krystallus grabbed the nurse by the neck before she could sound the alarm and strangled her. All the memories of his continuous torture on the hands of Saisem came rushing through his head as he blamed her for his weakness, continuously drugging him to be docile and submissive.

He dropped her body after she stopped breathing and a guard came in to see what was taking her so long, so he activated his power, leaving the world in slow motion again, angrily grabbed the syringe and proceeded to stab the guard's neck multiple times.

When his powers' effect faded again, he fell on his ass, still in disbelief for what he had done while panting heavily.

"Jade": We did it.

Krystallus looked at "Jade" who was at the door.

"Jade": Come on.

Krys: But...
