Episode 43 - (I Like) The Way You Love Me

Ben: Right, the name's Ben. I've been trying to take down Envy's base for years, but now, thanks to your help, we finally got a breakthrough.

He walks them to a strategy room with a map of the capital.

Ben: We are here, on the city center lies the Red Castle, but there's no way any of us will be able to enter. They are fortified by a large invisible shield that blocks anyone that comes from two buildings. The European Saisem Academy and the Saisem Laboratory.

Paris: That's cliche as fuck.

Ben: Well, their supreme leader is an old fashioned guy.

Leo: So what? We take down those generators and then we can raid the castle?

Ben: Exactly. Except that Empress Ran herself guards the entrance. We want only the Red King alive, the rest can go to hell. They either surrender or die.

Silver perks up after hearing that.

Delph: Let me guess, we're splitting up again?

Luiz: Pretty much.

Leo: Harper and Delph both went to Saisem Academies, right?

Delph: I went to one in the middle east. Father figured out that training to death in the scorching heat would make me "a man".

Harper: I didn't go as a child, My parents didn't care about me having powers. I did go later in life, mandatory.

Leo: So you know this one's layout, right?

Harper: Yes, I remember.

Leo: So you'll go with Team Dark, Luiz can you go lead Team Dark this time?

Luiz: You're going with Team Light this time?

Leo: Yea.

Silver had a peculiar interest on going with Team Light to Saisem's Labs

Emily: Which Team am I on? And Hanji of course.

She looked at Leo.

Leo: Hanji, Paris, Nana, Silver and Me on Team Light.

Luiz: That leaves Harper, Allen, Jade, Delph and Emily with me.

Emily: Aww... I wanted to be on Leo's team...

However, the strategy room's monitor gets Hijacked and an image of Red King Envy sitting on his throne is seen.

Ben: How in blazes...

Envy: Luminary, looks like you finally arrived. Took you long enough.

Delph: Should we tell him to give up now?

Paris: Nah. He's a villain, they always prefer to learn in the hard way.

Leo: The fuck do you want?

Envy: Well, you guy's weakness ain't easy to find, except...

He snaps his fingers and a camera feed from Saisem's Labs appears, showing Luiz' dad tied to a chair, which immediately makes him worried.

Luiz: Dad...?

The image goes back to Envy.

Envy: That's right, I got your dear old dad, courtesy of my friend here.

Ran appears from behind the Throne and Luiz loses his cool.

Luiz: Don't involve him in this mess! He's an honest normal old man! He has nothing to do--

Envy: Yadda, Yadda... Like we care. If you don't surrender Jade to us in less than 24 hours, your old man will bite the bullet.

The video feed turns off and Luiz loses balance, Paris and Allen hold him as he was starting to get pale.
