With one week left until the final raid, Allen got out of the castle, ready to leave and saw his uncle looking at Jade.
Allen: What's happening?
Mentor: She said she needed to practice more, so I allowed her to create her things outside.
Allen looked and Jade just finished making a huge water reservoir for the castle. She was proud of herself for both helping and because she usually can't create things that are that tall or large.
Mentor: Her powers are getting stronger each day.
Allen: There's no need to fear her, Uncle.
Mentor: I'll trust your words then.
Jade: Allen look! I made a water reservoir!
She was smiling like a little kid that just got a puppy.
Allen: That's a new breakthrough for you, right?
She nodded.
Jade: Haven't made anything this big before and have it work.
Allen smiled and gently pats her head
Jade: Also I'm out of blue paint.
Allen: Then we should get new ones.
They mount on two horses.
Allen: Thank you for everything.
Mentor: No, I must thank her.
He looked at Jade and gently held her hand.
Mentor: Thank you, little one, you made Allen go from a stubborn kid to a responsible man.
Jade: Little one? I'm a year older than him.
She pouts.
He laughs while Allen gets a bit annoyed.
Mentor: You will always be welcome in our family.
Jade: Thank you. That means a lot to me, it really does.
He releases her hand and looks down.
Mentor: And... I'm sorry for judging you too hastily.
He removed his hood and looked at her.
Mentor: We assumed you were a threat... Without even knowing who you are... Now I realize how mistaken I was.
Allen: Uncle...?
Mentor: You aren't a danger to humanity. You are a kind and good girl with a sensible soul... Can you forgive this foolish old man?
Jade: Of course, everyone makes mistakes. Plus fear makes people do things that you wouldn't normally do.
Mentor: Allen, I hereby revoke the order from protecting and Killing the Sage Jade Martinez.
Allen: Y-You do?!
Mentor: Make her happy and be happy. That's all I wish.
Jade: I'll make sure of him being happy.
Allen smiled at both of them.
Allen: Alright, that's enough.
Mentor: Is that a tear in your eye?
Allen: A grain of sand landed on my eye, no biggie.
Jade: Suuuure.
She giggled and gave them both a hug.
Back in Germany, Harper and Delph left the house with a yawn, ready to go.
