I got to cross of another thing from my dad's list. Just before the road trip, I thought it was time to cut off some of my hair. I hadn't seen a proper hairdresser since my eighteenth birthday and I am almost turning twenty. That must mean that I deserve it and maybe it was a little hint from my dad. Though my experience from it all was probably much different than my dad's. There were a couple of old man showering me with compliments that I barely understood, but I am not bold. In fact my hair is still long enough to fall over my shoulder, but short enough to showcase my tattoo.

James left Palas and is back in England to help my father. I feel like for him everything is back on track. I on the other hand, had a huge fall back.

Here I thought I was brave and concurring the world, but it was all a façade. I never felt alone, because I wasn't alone. But after Harry's promise to leave me alone, I really am alone.

But to give myself some credit, I think I am handling it wisely. If Harry really need so much time to think about being with me, then I shouldn't give him a minute of thought. So I ignore him and he ignores me. It will be the perfect recipe for a nice road trip.

Normally I would have stayed at home and cried and wailed about how my life sucks. Then I would let Sage persuade me to go out and I would meet another guy, kiss him and date him until someone else came along. Since I am doing none of that, I think I deserve some credit.

To be honest, the last thing on my mind is to find another boy and that my friends, is great news and the only reason I smile and laugh and don't have to fake it.

As we wait in the burning sun for everyone to arrive, I stand next to the van. Whatever happens, I am sitting in the van that Ava's driving. I wish it had an open roof like Harry's car, but for the time being the very hot bus will have to do.

Of course everyone else is waiting by Harry's car. It will be an interesting fight to see who ends up there. I have a feeling it will be Elena and Olivia, just to piss me off.

Without Rosie, our group feels much smaller, but we still decided to take two cars. Simply because space is nice in this heat.

Harry is the last one to arrive and although I try not to look, I have to. He's of course wearing everything I love. His hair is pushed back with own of his shawls and he's wearing Ray-Ban's. He looks tanned because of the contrast with his white shirt and he's actually wearing shorts. Something he pulls off better than me.

Did I mention that I hate him?

He throws his bag on the back seat of his car and looks to everyone that has gathered around his car. Liam quickly walks to my side eyeing me for a second before he opens the door of the van and takes the bench in the back.

I then see Niall look back and forth between Harry's car and the van before his eyes fall on Elena. They clearly state that Niall isn't welcome so he slouches to me and I pat him on his shoulder.

"Nice try," I tell him and he huffs.

So that's settled then. Olivia and Ben sit down next to Harry's bag and Elena takes the seat next to the handsome driver. Niall and I sit down in the middle seat of the van and Louis, of course, sits next to Ava.

"Off we go!" Louis yells but I can't help but feel that the rest of the bus isn't as excited as him.

Liam seems to be already asleep which I find wise, and Niall is planning the same thing as he nuzzles against the window. I believe they had a rough night.

"Where are we going first?" I ask for the sake of it. I already know.

"Up to the mountains for some fresh air. Will take us half the day and then we can relax in a real resort for a day near the only lake this island has. The rest of the week won't be as luxury so enjoy!" Louis is clearly happy and claps in his hands at the prospect of hot tubs, fresh water and room service.
