"Here's your schedule and you'll also find our excursion schedule. Every other Sunday we do something fun so I'll see you there. Also," he trails off finding Harry. "You and Harry stop by my house tomorrow so you know where I live in case you ever need me."
I can't think of anything that will acquire me knowing where Zeno lives, but since he's now officially my boss, I better accept his offer. Also I am a bit curious.
"Sure," Harry answers for the both of us, suddenly standing next to me.
We're both fully dressed and ready to leave, almost everyone else left the pool. Most of us happy with the results. Only the vultures left unsatisfied.
"Yeah, of course," I mumble while Harry lays his hand on my back to push me towards the exit.
"I can show you the place where I bought my car on the way there?" Harry offers as we step outside, I almost fall back into Harry's body from the heat wrapping around me like a warm blanket.
"That'll be great. Then you can stop driving me around."
"You don't like my car?" He asks squinting against the sunlight.
"Actually-." But then I have to remind myself that teasing him isn't always the way to go so I stop myself from telling him that it is him that I don't like. It would also be a lie.
"I love it. Can I drive it?" I mentally applaud myself for my comeback and to not insult Harry. To my surprise Harry throws me the keys and I eagerly stroll to his side.
"Are you sure?" I asks him when I am inches away from him.
He blinks a couple of times before he takes a step back and walks to the passenger side. I never drove on the wrong side of the road so maybe this isn't the best idea, but it is a straight road so what can go wrong?
"You do know how to shift do you?" He belts up but turns his body to me.
"I do have my license."
"Yeah, a lot of people do who shouldn't drive." He rolls his eyes before he looks to my face. "Obviously I don't think that about you or I wouldn't let you drive my car."
I push my lips inside my mouth to not laugh. He's like me trying not to insult one another. Yet, we're still having fun. Part of me knows I am skating on thin ice with Harry considering he's a boy, but I like being around him as a friend. I know he isn't looking for a girlfriend so that means he must like me in that way as well. Why else would he even let me drive his car?
"Come on, start the car," Harry presses and I shake my head to get rid of my thoughts.
"Okay."
I start the car with Harry's eyes on me. They always seem to burn holes in me, but I manage to start the car without too much of a hassle.
"Great. Now let's drive home," Harry says and I glance his way for a second. It's weird to see him sit in my usual spot and it already annoys me that his eyes stay on me instead of the road.
"Just look out for any birds will you."
A weird sounds escapes Harry's lips at my comment.
"What?" He exclaims loudly.
"I don't want to kill any birds, or rabbits or dogs or cats. Any animal, so look to the road please."
"You're kidding right?"
"Nope." I don't want to discuss it any further so I put the car in reverse and drive away from the swimming pool.
"You're a big animal lover," he states. He must have known from my love for strays.
