Quickly I stand up from my seat to welcome Louis and of course curse in his ear. "Why the hell did you bring him with you? This is about you and Ava. You two need to make amends!" I press the most important subject.

Like Ava said, Harry and I will be fine (although the way he looks right now makes me believe otherwise). We don't need to rush this conversation because it scares me. I mean what do I tell Harry? I'm not even sure who has to apologize first and what for.

"Oh piss off. I knew Ava would be with you so I am giving you some medicine of your own recipe and show you guys how it is done. I do wonder what the hell you did to Harry. Took me some strength to get him here and clearly he doesn't want to be even near you. Now watch and learn." Louis smiles sweetly like he always does after an insult and I make myself small as I sit down and let Louis take the seat next to me.

"Babe, I'm really sorry for all I said yesterday," Louis starts off. Ava closes her eyes briefly as she lets his simple but effective words sink in. To be honest, it's a really uncomfortable place to sit since Louis and Ava aren't even sitting next or in front of each other. Meaning that Harry and I are in the midst of their makeup session. Louis really takes this lesson seriously.

"I shouldn't have brought Zeno in to the mix," he continues and her eyes drop to her hands almost unnoticeable, but I see the way she still cringes at the sound of his name. "He's a dick and so was I. I don't have to tell Zeno that I love you. All that matters is that you know that I really, really love you."

"I really love you too," Ava half-cries half-laughs and they lean forward to kiss one another over the table. Not a simple kiss on the cheek but a real lingering French kiss and there's nowhere else that I can look but them.

When they finally pull away, Louis leans back in his seat and whispers in my ear. "That's how it's done."

"So on another note," he says out loud so that the rest of us can hear. "How did it go with your boyfriend Alex? Did he take you back?"

"What?" I frown. "No."

"No?" He questions but looks at Harry whose face can only tell Louis one thing. Shut up. But Louis doesn't take subtle hints. "I thought Harry said you went back to him after your little.. night together. Didn't you Harry?"

I give Harry a challenging look and tilt my head. "No, I didn't," he clearly lies.

"It's obvious that she's single," Ava chimes in. "Look at her! It's my goal of the night to find her a nice rebound."

That's what I usually would do after a breakup. Before James I went from one boy to another and although I thought that me and James would last forever, in the back of my mind I simply assumed that I would go back to that behavior if we were ever to break up. Now that that day is here, it is actually the last thing on my mind. Even if it means spending the night sleeping alone under a palm tree.

"That's not what she should do," Louis butts in on my behalf.

"She should. You always have to keep your options open," she explains and I open my mouth to tell her off but again, Louis cuts me to the chase.

"No she should just look to the options she already has!"

"But what if those options aren't reliable and turn their back on you once they drink too much?"

Suddenly me and Harry are the subject of their relationship and argument. We both stand up at the exact same time and what I expect him to do is walk away without another word, but he surprises me and nudges his head.
