@iremsu68 a little bonus chapter just for you!
It's already late in the evening and Harry's train will arrive soon. It has been a month since I last saw him at the airport. We had just come back from Palas and he'd told me for the first time that he loves me. I've know for a long time that he did, but I didn't think I'd ever hear him say it. We've spoken on the phone a lot and our text thread is endless, but he hasn't repeated the words.
He was supposed to be here hours ago, but he was delayed at work and then his train wasn't on time and some other shit. I've been here for too long now and the cold weather is starting to creep in my bones.
With some worry I stand up to walk circles around the bench. What if he's having second thoughts about this all? He seemed to really miss me too, but after a month you would expect him to try and make an effort and at least come on time.
Around ten o'clock he texts that he's in the train arriving soon and my heart starts to beat loudly. I haven't seen him in England yet. I don't know who he is here, what he's like. If he'll be affectionate or fight his instinct to touch me. I'll know soon and the nerves flying around in my body make me want to puke, that's how stressed I am about this. Because my biggest fear is that he won't love me anymore now we're here and there's no sea to distract us. Just a train station.
Not many people are around at this hour since it is a small station close by my house that I share with my father. There's one coffee shop but it is already closed. It doesn't take long before I notice him.
One large bag is slung over his shoulder as he types on his phone. I notice his hair is already longer than a month ago and the light of his phone shows me that his skin color has changed as well. I stand still to see him type a message, probably meant for me to tell me he's arrived. He looks cautious as he drops his bag to the floor and sits on it.
Harry: I'm here, did you wait for me?
I wonder if he's just as nervous as I am. I'm scared shitless that once in England we won't have that spark that we shared back in Palas. We'll find out soon enough as I answer him.
Alex: find the bench and you'll find me
Immediately he looks up to scan his surroundings and a moment later his eyes lock with mine. All worry is gone when he stands up and runs. He leaves his bag behind and I leave my bench behind as we meet in the middle.
When his hands touch me they're much warmer than my body that has been outside in the early November cold. He crashes his mouth against mine as he holds my cheeks.
"Hey," he says with a twinkle in his eyes, breaking contact with my mouth but not his hands. "I missed you."
"I missed you, too," I whisper, still taking him in. He pecks my lips again and then drops his hands to my waist where he holds me close.
"I'm sorry I'm so late. Everything that could go wrong, went wrong."
"It's okay," I say quick although for the past hour I've thought numerous other things that don't come close to okay.
"You're not mad at me?" He wonders as he tilts his head.
"Not anymore."
"Good, because I got some bad news," he says and he pinches my sides that are covered by a thick coat and a oversized sweater. Still he burns my skin.
"And that is?"
"I have to go back in the early morning," he says and for a moment I lose eye contact with him and I'm sure my vision turns to black as I push him away so quick, that I startle him and myself. "What the fuck?!"
