After Harry is done explaining to me how to use a board, I get to give it a go. The first attempts I fall off it even though it feels quite stable. But after some more tries I get the hang of it and paddle into the sea. Harry follows me and starts to explain how to turn and how to get someone on the board. He's suddenly a very good teacher, giving me the time to ask questions and to practice.

"So, I think you're ready to save me," Harry declares as we are on the beach again.

"Come collect me." he wiggles his eyebrows as he walks into the water leaving me freezing on the beach.

He dives under a couple of times swimming further into the sea then I have been today. My stomach is rumbling and my arms are tired, but I want to show him that I can rescue someone.

As I run in to the sea holding the board and throw it down on the rough water, I feel an excitement in my body that is overwhelming me a bit. I am actually liking this job so far and spending time with Harry. It is only my first real day here and I never thought I would enjoy myself. With a big smile on my face, I paddle towards Harry who's faking to drown. I can tell he's faking because I can spot his wide grin even from a distance.

"Catch me if you can," he yells and I paddle even harder ready to drag him on my board.

Thank god that I get to swim multiple times a week because when I grab him I surprise myself. I am much stronger than I thought when I grab Harry's arm like he did with me. I try to pull him on the board, but he's making it difficult. From behind I feel another wave crash into us and I lose my grip on him. I keep focused on his face because Harry told me that the water works in mysterious ways and you can lose someone quickly. He keeps a hand on my board so he can ride the wave with me.

As soon as I am in calm water again I grab Harry's arm and this time, with a bit of his help, I pull him on the board. He's lying on his belly like I was. I am on the end of the board struggling to keep my balance. It feels as if every muscle in my body is working overtime to keep Harry on my board. He's too far to the top of the board.

Before I can over think it -- as Harry would put it -- I grab his legs like he did with mine and slide him towards me. Keeping the balance is still hard, but I manage to paddle through the waves and towards the beach. Harry looks over his shoulder giving me the thumbs up. I grin stupidly proud at my first try.

"Great job Lexie," Harry shouts at me and for once I don't correct him on my name.

After practising for another hour, I have saved Harry four times. The last time I even caught a wave and the feeling was incredible. Instead of working hard to make my way through the waves, I felt a push from behind and all of the sudden I didn't have to do anything as the wave brought me to the beach. Harry cheered to me making me flush. I don't think I have blushed so many times in two days.

He changed his attitude drastically towards me. I almost forget that yesterday I thought he was a jerk. I still think he can be, but he can also be nice. We even might have some fun working together.

"Do you want to go grab some food down town?" Harry asks to my surprise after we both are in our clothes again.

"Sure." I smile to him and grab my bag ready to leave the tower.

I wave to Rosie and another guy who are watching the sea and the still almost empty beach. He introduced himself as Pablo. He's the only Spanish guy on the team and speaks some Greek as well.

We walk down the boulevard towards the strip. The beach turns into rocks and in the distance I can spot the bars everyone seems to talk about. Some of the bars have their terrace hovering over the water. It looks really beautiful. At the end of the street is a harbour and I spot a real pirate ship.
