Fifty-Five.

"Good morning, Sleeping Beauty.", August says as Kennedy enters the kitchen.

"Good morning boo, Happy Anniversary", Ken says walking up and hugging him from behind.

"Happy Anniversary baby.", he says turning around and kissing her.

"Mm, I love you so much.", she says pulling away and smiling.

"I love you more, you wanna finish this with me?", he asks, referring to breakfast.

"Of course, what's left?", she asks.

"Just pancakes and sausage. I made the biscuits, bacon, and grits.", he says stirring them.

"Okay.", she nods walking to the pantry.

Kennedy

August and I decided to not make today a very extravagant day. We're exchanging gifts and having dinner and all, just in the comfort of our home.

"Baby we got an interview next week.", August says looking down at his phone while Kennedy cooks.

"Interview with who and where?", Ken asks flipping over their pancakes.

"Angela Yee's Lip Service show in Jersey.", he says.

"Lip Service huh?", she asks glancing at him.

"Yeah, are you uncomfortable with it? We don't have to do it.", he says.

"Nah I ain't uncomfortable. Everybody has sex, plus we grown as fuck. If anyone has a problem with what we talking about, they don't have to watch it.", she shrugs.

"Okay.", he smirks a bit. "I wonder what's gonna go down. Like if we're gonna be asked questions and shit."

"Me too, I'm assuming we'll just be asked random questions.", she says handing his plate to him.

"Thank you ma.", he says kissing her cheek and walking to the table.

"You're welcome.", she smiles as she follows him.

"Okay.", Ken says picking up a card from the table. "What is your partners' favorite animal?", she asks putting the card on her leg.

"That's easy, cats.", Aug says.

"Good job, your turn.", she smiles.

"Aight.", he says picking up a card. "What is your partners' favorite thing about you physically?", he asks.

"Your lips.", she says as her eyes trail down so them. "So thick, so suckable, so perfect.", she says licking her own.

"I know something else that's suckable.", he says as her eyes focus on his whole face.

"That right?", she smirks.

"Mhm.", he says biting his lip.

"Ooh- no, no. Not now.", she laughs. "I see what you tryna do and it ain't gonna work, ya nasty."

"I did no such thing.", he says putting his hand on his chest, making her laugh.

"Let's watch whatever's left of this movie.", she smiles moving close to him and laying her head in his lap.

"No.", Ken says pulling Aug back into their kiss in response to him pulling back.

"Baby, we gotta start cooking.", he says in between kisses.

"Two more minutes.", she mumbles against his lips, deepening the kiss once again.

Laughing through the kiss for a second, he tucks her hair behind her ear and holds her waist with his free hand.
