"Baby, why would I miss your product launch?", August asks driving.
"Because you're not here Aug!", Kennedy whines.
"Lani, there's a whole two and a half hours before your launch. I'll be there in one of those hours, I promise.", he says parking his car.
"Okay, drive safe please.", she says poking her bottom lip out.
Feeling that she is, "I will and put ya lip back, I love you.", he says.
"I love you too.", she sighs.
"I will be there, I promise.", he says hanging up and getting out of his car.

Thanks to me taking forever to pick a ring and my jeweler taking forever to get everything with it right, I couldn't pick it up until today.
"Johnny, my guy. How you been?", August says walking into the jewelry store.
"Good, good. You come to pick up ring for girlfriend?", Johnny asks.
"Yes, you got it for me?", he asks.
"I do, follow me.", he says walking away with August following behind him.
"This your ring?", Johnny asks.
"Yes, it is.", August says smiling at the sight of the ring, "Thank you, man.", he says.
"No problem, she will love it.", he says smiling and handing him the ring in the box.
"I really hope so.", he exhales shakily.

Yes nigga, I'm nervous. She's been racking her brain about this product launch all damn week and she's been on my ass about what song I'm performing, I ain't tell because her she'd know what I'm doing or at least be really suspicious about it if I did. So I just want her launch to go right and this proposal go right. That's it.
"Kennedy, I'm on my way. I'll be there in less than thirty minutes.", August says driving.
"Okay, okay. I'll stop calling. See you when you get here.", Kennedy says.
"Aight, love you.", he says.
"Love you too, bye.", she says hanging up.

"Where's Aug?", Ashley asks sitting down while looking at Kennedy pace across the stage.
