"Thank youuu.", she blushes, covering her face and turning away from him.

"Stop that, you beautiful mama.", he says taking her hands off her face and kissing all over it.

"Okayyy, okay.", she laughs cupping her face and kissing him.

"Y'all look so beautiful.", Kennedy says smiling and looking at the girls in their costumes.

"My princesses.", August says smiling and dusting off Kayden's skirt.

"Y'all ready to get some candy?", Kennedy asks twirling one of Amaiya's curls around her finger.

"Yes! Let's go. I'm about to rack up on so many snickers.", Chaylin says walking towards the door.

"I could've got you some snickers a long time ago Chay.", August chuckles, following her.

"Why have you buy them when I can get them for free from other suckers already buying them?", she asks raising her eyebrow in fake suspense, making August laugh.

"Aight you la scamma'", he says nudging her.

Kennedy walks the girls up to a door and stands behind him. "Go 'head y'all", she smiles.

"Trick or treat!", the girls yell in unison.

"Here you go pretty ladies.", a young man smiles putting candy in the girls bags.

"Thank you.", they say in unison before running back to Aug and she turns to follow behind them.

"Where's your candy bag beautiful?", he asks biting his lip at Ken, making her turn around.

"Sir, I'm 25. My trick or treating days ended over a decade ago.", she chuckles, "And uh.. I'm spoken for.", she says holding up her left hand, her engagement ring gracing her ring finger.

"Ahhh, aight. My fault lil mama.", he says as she scoffs and walks to August and the girls.

"You know him or something?", August asks draping his arm around her shoulders while looking back at the dude as they start walking again.

"No, he was just tryna spit game.", Kennedy says rolling his eyes.

"What he say? I'm gone fight this nigga.", he says about to turn around.

"Woah there tiger, calm down.", she says smacking his butt.

"Aight now I'm finna fight you.", he says making her laugh into his chest.

"You thick bae.", she says looking up at him.
