🌺Confess😚

       "You should really just give up, he's never gonna feel the same way about you." 
Spinner's words felt like a dagger piercing straight through Todoroki's fragile heart.
 Todoroki wanted to retort back at Spinner with some sort of a snarky comeback. But, as Todoroki opened his mouth to speak, nothing was said. The words had died, crumbled into dust before fading away. Shoto had made himself believe that the feelings he felt for Shigaraki Tomura we're reciprocated. But, after several attempts at trying to express his feelings, Shigaraki seemed to not get the hint. 

       Todoroki had doubts that Shigaraki didn't feel the same way that he did. And hearing it from someone else seemed to confirm those fears. Everyone else had caught onto it already, and felt pity upon the rejected teen when his attempts at flirting failed miserably. Unable to argue with Spinner's statement, Todoroki slumped down into his crossed arms on the table he was sitting at, eyes averting to stare solemnly at the floor.
"Hey," Spinner's expression softened slightly as he laid a comforting clawed hand on Todoroki's back, "don't look so sad kiddo. I was just trying to help you out. So you don't get your heart broken. Your too sweet of a person for that kind of pain."

       "Besides," Dabi decided to barge into the private conversation, "I hate seeing you make a fool out of yourself. It's kinda nauseating." At this comment, Todoroki rolled his eyes. 
"Shut up." Todoroki grumbled, before hiding his face in his crossed arms. Despite keeping a rather calm and monotone attitude about the whole thing, Spinner's words really did get to Todoroki. It made him rethink just about everything. 

       Todoroki couldn't deny that he was madly in love with his boss, Tomura Shigaraki. At first, he had hidden the fact from everyone, including himself. But, slowly, he tried confessing. In his own way, of course. His first attempt was a letter with a poem inside, but he scrapped the idea at the last minute. He tore apart the letter and threw it away in his trash can.
The second try was when Todoroki left a tray of brownies he left in Tomura's room. Of course, Todoroki didn't leave any evidence that he was even in the room, which made him deeply annoyed at himself later on. Curse himself and his need to keep his fingerprints off everything! 

       It was at this point where Shoto had just resorted to tame flirts and compliments, praying to whatever luck he had to pay off. Everyone soon realized the situation, and it was actually Kurogiri who had asked Todoroki about his crush. Well, it was also because he found and pieced together the remains of the love letter that he had found in Todoroki's trash can for fifteen minutes. So, Kurogiri was the first to be confirmed about the truth, but Shoto made the
warp-gate villain promise not to tell a soul. 

       Kurogiri promised. But, with or without the promise, everyone else found out. Toga and Twice were the ones encouraging Todoroki to keep trying, and even stayed up all night with the youngest male League member watching confession videos.(They all cried at a few of them, but there's no time for that). But, up until Spinner, no one told Todoroki that his attempts, and practically throwing himself at Shigaraki, was doing him any good. 

       Even with the attempts, Shigaraki completely ignored Todoroki's attempts at flirting with him. And, all though he allowed Shoto to be physically affectionate towards him, Tomura never reciprocated. Or even seemed to enjoy his presence.
Todoroki just had to come to terms that Tomura just wasn't interested in him. Todoroki knew he couldn't just get over Tomura in a single second. So for now, he'd just distance himself from him. 

       Besides, it's not like it would really matter. 

       Right?

       So, over the next few days, Todoroki did everything to try and distance himself from his boss. Of course, if absolutely necessary, Todoroki would talk with Tomura. It would be about mission things, normally. Normally, he'd sit next to the blue haired male at the bar, playing with his hair and watching him either make plans or play video games. But now, he sat away from the bar with Spinner, Toga and Twice, chatting about whatever seemed interesting at the time.
