Type of Story: Fluff
Basic Summary: There seems to be an abhorrent premonition shared between Shigaraki Tomura and one of his new recruits; Shoto. However, as time goes on, this hatred turns into something more akin to amorousness.

Inspiration(s): The song 'Your Stupid Face' by Kaden MacKay was the biggest inspiration for this. I put his song above if you'd like to listen to it.
Warning(s): This is an AU where Shoto was homeless from a young age, after having killed most of his family the night Rei burned him.
Kurogiri had done his best to teach the young Shigaraki Tomura about manners, especially the widely known rule that 'staring at others is impolite'. But even though he really did want to, Shigaraki could not tear his eyes away from the person who sat across the room from him.
Just two weeks ago Giran brought this guy to meet with him about joining the League. But two days earlier, Giran had brought the other two jokers--bloodsucker-crazy-girl and patch work--and Shigaraki nearly killed them both on the first impression. So, yeah, it wasn't like he was exactly jumping out of his seat to meet anymore people accompanied by that old geezer.
And from the second that he laid eyes on him, Shigaraki just knew that this guy was going to be nothing but trouble. Apparently, Giran was supposed to have brought this guy on his last visit as well. But his excuse for him was: "He was too nervous the other day to come meet you. But I finally got this lil' hermit out of his shell! " Yippy.
Not going to lie, it was going to be nice to have two fire users on his team. Besides, if either one of them pisses him off, he won't be in too much trouble for killing them. Shoto also has other qualities that eventually persuaded Shigaraki into hiring him: the brat was very handy at sneaking around, which will also come in handy for spying and breaking into places. And like Toga, he was skilled at combat and could turn practically anything into a weapon.
However, Shigaraki was so close to turning this guy away just by his attitude alone. It wasn't like he was outright rude like Dabi and/or Twice could be, but he wasn't a polite little snowflake either. He was definitely what could be called 'ill-mannered'; Shoto spoke his mind without much care for what his words may cause or effect. And his damn voice was always so dull! Like he had no emotions whatsoever. This often got on Shigaraki's nerves, especially when Shoto questioned any part of his plans.
Eye contact also seemed to be a big no-no as well, especially when someone was talking to him. It was like the mere thought of looking at someone's face would make him sick. Yet despite this, Shigaraki also found Shoto occasionally watching him. It was never like a death glare or anything like that, but still he found it creepy.
The way Shoto acted also bothered Tomura to a certain degree. He'd stare at the ground as he trudged along wherever he may be going, eyes never lifting to meet anyone's gaze. Although this may seem to be because he's shy or depressed, which he most certainly is, the way Shoto held himself would tell you a totally different story. Just by looking at the guy you could tell he was filled with hatred and malice, waiting for any moment to strike. This put many on edge, especially Shigaraki, who was usually always on edge anyway.
Right now, Shigaraki was sat at the bar and was glaring over his shoulder at Shoto. Currently, the blank-faced young man was having his ear talked off by Twice. Another thing that bothered Shigaraki was that he could never read what Shoto might be thinking. With everyone else, they either wore their emotions on their sleeves or you could find it somewhere in their eyes. Like how Dabi's eye would twitch and/or narrow when he started getting ticked off.
