Shopping, excitement and happiness oozed off of the Alam family. The wedding of their youngest female child was approaching full force and soon enough the cloud of gloom was being lifted off of her head.

In the company of her own family she felt herself at ease and her mind in a safe place. A constant reminder of here where she belonged and who truly was hers made her glow in a different light that outshined the dark clouds of his gaze that followed her around like a hawk.

Arbaz khan wasn't the one to settle down that easily. Riling her precious lawyers team was a source of pure entertainment for him. The two months were coming to an end and the miseries of lost, jumbled hints were taking a toll on her her and her case.

With a deadly smirk he had expertly had them slipping in a web he had woven, the files they find, the evidence they gather and the lies they believe we're enough for him to let his prey think of itself as the predator.

"Sir. What are we going to do? You're handing them the proof with you own hands" the lawyer asked.

"Nothing, we wait till the end" he replied letting the grey cloud escape his lips and create a Halo around his sculpted face.

The light hit his high cheekbones and got stuck in the mass of black facial hair that covered his sharp jaw. Blue eyes glinted with mirth and heartlessness for the one who dared to fight against him.

"But... They're digging up every evidence they need, if this is how it keeps on going we're going to loose" the lawyer said following his employer with eyes as he strutted around in the room leisurely.

"Kaleem sahab, you worry too much" he chuckled making the man gulp and nod before leaving at the command of his gaze.

"You think you're smart miss Zoya. Keep that thought I'd like to see you watch your plan go other wise" a laughter rumbled his chest with his cigar hanging from between his teeth.

"Naive little fox"

er veins were on fire. Rage was wrapping itself around her mind like a vine of thorns. She felt immense hatered for the girl he was so busy talking to that he didn't even have a moment to look her way.

"Who does this man think he is? Is he my fucking child? No. Then why do I have to keep an eye on him? What is wrong with all that girl eyeing him?" She gritted the words under her breath making Hadiya hold back her laughter.
