The lights were blinding as they made the hall glitter under their hue of gold and silver. The hotel was decorated like a bride for the function and the organizer didn't disappoint.
The men looked royal in solid color sherwanis while the women brought colours in contrast.
Him along with his siblings and cousins were occupying a table in the corner tried from looking over the arrangements on special request of his aunty. The dinner was served and the hustle around had calmed down a little. All of the younger Khan's were present on the table but one. She was missing and he felt it in the silent clattering of the cutlery.
He walked outside after dinner to find professional lights and tripods surrounding a figure. Large lights lit up the spot, while two cameras made shuttering sounds.

"Was the official photographer not good enough?" He asked making her jolt in her place and trip on the grass by her heel digging in it.
Zahan was quick to catch her but so was the camera. It froze the moment in it's memory for long eternity much like the two who froze in time holding onto each other. Ones hand on the her waist while the other's holding his shoulders.
"Do you not know how to make a decent entrance?" She scowled standing straight but slipped on the sturdy anklet that left her ankle and fell to the ground.
"Easy there miss decent." He said stabilizing her. His eyes not leaving her face while she settled her dupatta right on her front.
"Let me help you" he suggested stopping her from bending down to take the anklet.
"While you're at it just clasp it in place again" she said lifting the skirt up a little.
He gave her a subtle glare before clasping it around her ankle. She stumbled a little making her hold his shoulders, her hair tumbled down on one side while he grabbed her hand standing up to his height again.
"Now will you leave me your highness" she said rolling her eyes making him click his tongue, winking ever so slightly with a shake of his head.
"Why not?" She asked pulling away but was shushed by him twirling her around on the soft beat of the song playing in the background.
"Are you okay?" She chuckled as he pulled her back close swaying ever so lightly.
"Never been better" he said staring at her intently. The silent shutters of camera went unnoticed as the music increased. His leaned his forehead against hers making her heart go wild. She blinked multiple times trying to grasp the situation.
"Einstein" she said making him hum in response.
"I'm very happy today" he mumbled pushing her back a little and bringing her back in so that her back was plastered against his front
