Zahan's pov

It's been one hell of a week. Everywhere I go, her thoughts come along. Her voice was now more prominent then others. No matter how many faces are around me my eyes can recognize hers right away.

Her green eyes, black hair and that sweet smell of Jasmine, all were clouding my senses. It was irritating that how many times I have caught my eyes on her. Her being infront of me is like a curse, I can't focus with her around and that's not a good thing.

I walked out the main door of the house to find a tall figure standing on the porch. Black skirt flowing along the air, hair dancing away with the soft breeze of winter air, the silver studs on her black jacket glinting as the soothing sunlight hit them.

"Where are you going all dressed up?" I couldn't help but ask. My voice came out more strong then it should've. She turned around making my heart to beat faster.

Her round glasses were not there leaving her earthly green orbs on bare display. Her lashes curled up almost touching her eyebrows. Lips and cheeks tinted pink making her appear more enti-

"University annual ceremony" she said. I nodded my head and looked ahead waiting for Shayla to come outside.

"Einstein" her voice brought me out of the my thoughts. I raised an eyebrow in question making her grin like a chesire cat.

"Um... Take my pictures" she said making me furrow my eyebrows at her. Is she serious about me taking her pictures?

"Come again?" I asked not getting what exactly she wants.

"I said please take my pictures" she said trying to give me those stupid puppy dog eyes which don't work on me. Quite literally.

"No!" I said. She was ready to pounce on me and make me click her picture and I was ready to throw her away but Chacho brought the car and she left stomping her foot and rolling her eyes.

I rolled my eyes at her childish behavior. She's an adult for God sake can't she act like one.

"If you're not coming downstairs within a second I'm leaving." I spoke in the speaker after shayla picked up the call.

"Bhai calm down you won't come on the roads if you skip a day of work. You're the boss for God sake" her voice came from behind me as I hung up the call and turned to her who was walking out dressed in a black jumpsuit and a blazer on top.

"Chalen ab behad der horahi thi na aapko?" she said in an annoyed voice. I glared at her making her mumble a quick sorry for her sarcasm.
(Come on let's go you were getting really late no?)

We were on our way to the venue as silence cloaked us in its blanket. It's always like this. My cousin's and my mindset doesn't matches, not even a bit hence making them refrain from any conversation that could include me.

"I just hope zee wins. She worked really hard this year" Shayla mumbled as we now walk inside the auditorium. Submitting the cards on the reception we went inside. The cool breeze of the air conditioner welcomed us in.

"What has she worked hard for. All I've ever seen her do is roam around aimlessly" I said taking a seat at the back with Shayla. Chacho sat a few rows ahead of us.

"You'll see. I think they will play the presentations on the screen beforehand" she said eagerly watching the pointless dance performance.

The host changed as a man dressed in a brown suit now took his place at the podium.

"Ladies and gentlemen as you know this event has especially been organized for our media sciences students. Who has shown their talent through their art and their work. I would like to call the dean of media department up on stage. Please welcome sir Shehroz Malik" he said and gestured for a man to come take his place. The man nodded at the host and started giving his speech.
