He was out with his friends when his phone rang, excusing himself from his friends he answered Hadiya's call.

"Hello" he spoke.

"Where is Zoya?" She asked hurriedly making him furrow his eyebrows.

"She must be at home. Why are you asking me?" He asked feeling his body go rigid.

"She's not here bhai. khudaya" Hadiya panicked, her breath came out uneven as the fear of what could happen enveloped her.

"What's going on?" Zahan asked with his heart lurching in his mouth.

"Bhai. Ghazal. Ghazal and her friends are up to something. They.. they have a party and she was suppose to take Zoya there, they have a bet going on around her. There's so much she has done to Zoya bhai please help me" Hadiya begged, he heard shuffling from the other side and the sound of traffic.

"Where's the party?" He asked already on his toes to run there as fast as his could.

"I've sent you the address" she said getting inside a rickshaw.

"I'll be there in a minute" he said.

"Yaar where are you going?" His friend whined making him excuse himself.

"I promise next time. Okay?" he ran out of the cafe and got in his car. Every negative possibility flooded his mind as he raced to the address.

"What's going on Hadiya?" He called her again feeling anxious in the silence. The sound of traffic brought more to his raging heart.

"I..." She hiccupped watching the cars zoom by.

"Stop crying first of all" he said trying to stop his own anxiety from clogging his throat.

"Ghazal. I didn't know what was going on until I started picking up weird smells on Zoya" she chocked on her fear and told the driver to drive faster.

"What?" He yelled feeling his eyes widening.

"I found our when I caught her taking something in the ground behind our university." she explained cursing that traffic jam.

"And you didn't do anything about it?" He asked feeling his voice raise octaves. Rage over his wife took best of his senses and he sped past the vehicles holding him back.
