Chapter 2 - Part 10 - Trial

Joseph Gulls:

 "Look, I'm not the killer... Please... This is just some dumb misunderstanding!"

Thomas Dean:

 "Joseph please calm down. If there's a misunderstanding here than please explain calmly."

Joseph Gulls:

 "...I can't."

Milo Plains:

 "And why is that?"

Joseph Gulls:

 "Nobody would believe me... There's no evidence."

Katherine Lisle:

 "Well... At least tell us..."

Joseph Gulls:

 "..."

 Nico Ular:

 "Joseph even if we don't have solid proof, your testimony is still important."

Joseph Gulls:

 "...Fine. I'll explain."

Joseph took a few seconds to compose himself then looked at us all

Joseph Gulls:

 "It started before the party. A note was sent under my door... It was the note we found at the crime scene. During the party I had a small argument with Liam about it... He insisted on going to the library for me and I told him I wouldn't let him do that. Then, he must've slipped out of the party and caused the blackout... I didn't know he left the room and that's why I grabbed onto Nico. I thought he was Liam and I was trying to stop him from running. That's why I headed straight to the library."

Lydia Jones:

 "Hmm... Maybe the ghost of Liam will tell us wether your lying?"

Selina Blithers:

 "Ghosts aren't real."

 Lydia Jones:

 "Hah! Tell that to my brother!"

Nico Ular:

 "Anyways... does anybody have any evidence to confirm Joseph's claims?"

 The room went silent

Nico Ular:

 "...I guess I'll go first. I heard two people having an argument similar to the one Joseph described. I didn't recognise the voices at the time, but looking back it was most likely those two."

Opal Lockhart:

 "...I think I also have some evidence. And some very important evidence at that. I saw somebody walking down the hall. And they seemed to be going in the opposite direction of his dorm room.

Anna Bones:

"That's not evidence! They could've just been walking down the hall, people do that all the time!"

Opal Lockhart:

 "Funny that you're the one to say that... Seeing as you were the one I saw."

Anna Bones:

 "...heh."

Anna kept a calm expression. Then, she wore a devious smile
