(Daniel's POV, also took place before the killing game)
"Benjamin what are you doing?!"
Benjamin was packing a bag. He refused to look at me "I'm going out." He muttered. "Benjamin I'm sorry. I know this is hard on you, but you need to take a minute and-"
He suddenly threw a book at me "Don't just treat this as a minor inconvenience! You're treating it like that so you don't have to seem like a murderer. I risked my life today, hell I even have the bandages to prove it! And you all sat back then looked like kicked puppies when things didn't go right! And now, you just want to forget about it, like you forgot about everyone else!"
"Benjamin nobody forgot!" I told him "We just moved past it and didn't let it affect our day to day lives!" Benjamin scowled "That's just a fancy way of saying you don't care. You don't understand any of this!" he yelled. "I went through the same game as you!" I snapped. He looked away "Not exactly. You weren't stood there when I thought I was going to die... You weren't dragged by a chain and put into the place you know is for the dead!" I glared "That's because I got you out of it! He grateful I wasn't really dead when you you found me that morning!"
Benjamin paused. But then, he gave me a death stare "I wish you were dead when I found you that morning. I wish you were dead right now."
He went back to packing as if nothing had happened. He pretty much ignored me when he left... And then just like that he was gone.
Benjamin... Wishes I was...
I felt my hands shaking and my eyes tearing up
