Chapter 3 - Part 2 - Daily Life

Everyone was awake now and the people who were already awake were drowsy. This included me. Milo has to drag me to the main hall.

 "Damn you Nico Ular!" He muttered as he dragged me. "I didn't sleep at all yet I'm not needing to be dragged around..." I ignored him most of the time, until he suddenly stopped "Y'know what-"

 "There."

 Milo had suddenly picked me up. I went to ask why, but he answered the question in my head before I could say it out loud "It's faster than dragging and helps me assert dominance." He muttered. "Dominance over who?!" I bluffed. He chuckled "Nobody. It just makes me feel strong."

He walked me to the entrance then let me down "You're stop, Mr Ular." He muttered jokingly. "R-Right..."

He headed into the hall and everyone else was already there. Mary scowled "What took you two so long?" I rolled my eyes "Lets just say I didn't sleep well." Mary rolled her eyes, then continued "Well, here is the third motive. Everyone who's loved one was a killer, open your Monopad."

I saw Milo open his and wasn't sure wether I should look at it or not. But I glanced at it quickly. 

 "If you wanna look at it just ask."

 Milo had noticed the staring. "Sorry..." I muttered

I saw lots of people in the room get either terrified, annoyed or just plain shocked. I looked over at Phillip and Lydia. Lydia seemed disappointed in a way and Phillip seemed a mixture of mad and sad... Like smad...

Now's not the time for jokes Nico...

Mary looked away and continued "And today we have an additional motive... Information. If you kill someone, then you can ask me a question... Even if you don't get away with the crime." Katherine raised her hand "S-So... If I just hit someone with a rock and kill them now I can get information?" 

 "Yeah, it you wanna fucking die for being a dumbass."

 "Holy shit Mary said fuck."

There was an awkward silence, then Thomas muttered "I... Must go.." And he slowly left the room. "I-I gotta leave too..." Phillip mumbled. Joseph just walked out without a word and Lydia did the same. 

Then, we heard crying

 "I-I wanna know... Where is Benjamin? What happened to him?! I-I don't want to kill... I just want to know where Benjamin is!" She yelled, looking up at Mary. 

Brooke clearly was worried. Her brother being alive was probably worse than her brother dying... She had no idea where he was or what was going on. 

Then, the unexpected happened

Mary looked down at Brooke. Her face felt less emotionless and her eyes didn't seem despair filled.  "...Your brother has moved on. Daniel Bow died because he couldn't moved on. I've moved on and I'm fine. You need to move on Brooke Quillet."

The silence that followed Mary's speech was way too eerie for everyone's liking. I just ran out the room with shaking hands. 

I lay on my bed and thought about what Mary said. 

What was all that about Benjamin and Daniel? What does it even mean...

 "Nico?"

I saw Phillip standing at my door. He sighed "I'm really sorry for what Zoe did... And for what Lukas did..." He sat down next to me and I replied "You don't need to apologise. It's not like you killer Nathan. So... Why did..." 

Phillip looked away "Well... I don't have much to say for Lukas' side but the Monopad says she was manipulated... Ugh I just don't know what to think!" He groaned. I put a hand on his shoulder "Hey hey, it's ok. Zoe's in a better place now..." 

If you don't believe in hell that is...

He looked down "T-Thanks. And... I just wanna say if I'm gonna wind up dead, I hope at least you make it out!" His smile was way too bright when you compare it to what he was saying

 "D-Don't say that!"

 "Heh..."
