I think I stared into space for about thirty minutes before actually getting up and out of bed. I was still yawning when I left for the dining hall. When I walked inside, I saw Selina speaking with Opal.
"So... You're saying Mr Brown was traitor?"
"Yes. But he did a shit job at it..."
"...whose side are you on again?"
They were the only people there. "What time is it?" I asked, still rather drowsy. I sat next to them as Selina replied "4:30."
"Am?"
"No. It's pm and everyone else died."
Ah, sarcasm
Opal looked at me, concerned "Mr Ular, did you sleep properly? You seem unwell." I shook my head "I'll be honest with you... No. But wait.. Selina isn't this the halfway point?" Selina shook her head "No. After the trial will be the halfway point." She told me. "But... What if their isn't a trial?" Opal asked. Selina sighed "They'll make sure that won't happen."
There was silence, until I asked "Hey... What was Nathan like in the game? Did... He die early on?" Selina hesitated, then said "He just made it past the halfway point. But y'know... It's funny how you've grown such a closeness with Milo."
"How's that?" I asked. She looked away "Nathan and Archer, Milo's brother, we're close. Very close if you ask me. They bonded as soon as they lay eyes on each other."
Wow... Didn't think Nathan was all that good at making friends
"If you're wondering." Selina continue "Archer died before Nathan which caused your brother a lot of sadness. He tried to get everyone killed!"
There was a silence. Then, a bang on the door.
"Ow! Walked into the stupid door again..."
We turned and saw Phillip rubbing his head. "You're up early, Mr Cooper." Opal pointed out. Phillip nodded and sat with us "Nightmares..." His lip shook slightly as he said it. I put an arm around him "Hey, don't worry. We were just talking about... The killing game."
"Because that makes me feel better..." Phillip mumbled
Selina looked at Phillip then looked at Opal "Zoe was pretty close with Simon I guess... But it was more of a one time defence thing, ya get me?" Phillip shook his head "No... I don't think I do..."
"Why the hell are you all up so early?"
Mary was stood at the entrance. Opal scowled "Because of the game... Nobody slept well last night." Mary scowled back "No, you're hogging Miss Blithers over their for information." Selina rolled her eyes "Well then what do you have to offer? You were in the game too."
Mary paused, then replied "Patience. Once everyone else is up a little more info shall be given to those with killers for loved ones."
Huh?
Phillip perked up at this "Huh? What's that supposed to mean?"
Mary didn't look at him. She went to leave the room and as she was leaving, she said "A motive containing their's."
Then, she was gone
Selina rolled her eyes "She has nothing. Only the things the mastermind tells her to give out." There was a short silence, then Opal asked
"Selina... Do you know who the mastermind is?"
Selina was clearly taken aback by this. She took a step back from the rest of us

Selina was shaking now. Opal immediately seemed guilty "I-I apologise Miss Blithers... I just thought you might have an idea..." Selina looked at her with angered eyed "W-Well even if I did I wouldn't be sharing it with y-you!"
She ran off
I looked over at a clock on the wall
5:00am...
Guess we had a few hours to wait before we receive a motive
