We had been given dorms of sorts to sleep in. They were all unique to us and our talents. So, naturally, mine was filled with reptiles.
But one caught my attention
It was Angel. I knew it was. Nathan always said he could recognise her from her eyes... And I was only just now realising that he was right. I gave a saddened smile at the snake, then looked around the rest of the room. There were a few other reptiles and amphibians and stuff, but other than that it was a normal dorm room.
Then, there was a knock on the door
I opened it and saw Milo. He was holding the Monopad. "Hey, Nico. I just wanted to ask... Do you think this was a glitch?" He then showed me his Monopad.

I stared at it for a second, then said "I don't see the issue?" Milo sighed "Isn't it obvious? It says he's a killer and a victim. How is that even possible?"
"I think I might know how."
Milo turned around and saw Selina. "Sorry to interrupt a conversion I was never apart of, but it has happened before. In one of the first killing game's to be specific. A boy named Kiyotaka Ishimaru was killed by Hifumi Yamada. Then, a girl named Taeko Yasuhiro killed him. Making Hifumi both a killer and a victim." She ended with a bow. Milo looked at her with suspicious eyes "That's quite a lot of details, most people don't even know Taeko's real name. Where did you gain this info, Miss Haucet." He asked.
"U-Um Milo... Some people just know a lot about killing games." I muttered. Milo sighed "I know... But we've gotta take precautions. I mean, there's a Mastermind among us. That's what it's like in every killing game."
"Not in the neo world program killing game."
"Shut up."
An announcement suddenly rang through the halls.
"Students! Please come to the main hall for your very first motive!"
I looked at Milo and Selina "Motive? What's that supposed to mean?" I asked. Milo chuckled "So pure..." then walked off. Selina sighed "Its a motive to kill. Like... a reason for escaping or killing." She told me.
Great...
"Hey, Selina, you're friends with Void right?" I asked her. She nodded "In a way... Yeah." I hesitated then asked "Do you... Have any idea who he could be related to?"
This question had been bothering me and I couldn't put my finger on why. Perhaps it was the pitying look he gave me when I told him my name?
"Nope!" Selia said suddenly "I have nooo idea! You know we should probably get going..."
I sighed and nodded. I let Selina lead me to the main hall whilst I thought about things. Then, once I was in the main hall, I saw a large box with a screen on the wall with Sarah Blither's AI, but then there was a smaller one just below her.
"Ladies and gents," she announced "This is your very first motive!"
