I looked to the ground and realised that the thing that fell from Phillip's pocket was a small sunflower... Like the one Opal gave Lydia...
Lydia picked it up. "It feels... Familiar."
Nobody else spoke. I headed back to my dorm room, but Phillip's words stuck in my head.
"What am I doing wrong?!" I called out once in the room. In all honesty, I was talking to Nathan. I just needed some hope... This place was a cage...
"Nothing."
I heard his voice in my head. I lay in the bed "But... What if I die? What if someone I care about dies... What if..."
My hands felt cold. But... It was oddly comforting.
"You won't die. You're halfway through the game now... I'm positive you'll survive! You're not gonna end up like me."
The coldness faded and I felt peaceful again...
...But then the second voice played in my head
"Six dead. More to come!"
