Chapter 4 - Part 11 - Post Trial

We stood off of our podiums and seemed to stand in awkward silence for a couple of minutes. Normally we'd confront the killer and wait for execution after the trial... But since there wasn't a killer to confront or execute we all had no idea what to do. 

 "Do we just... Leave?" Mathew asked. Mary hesitated, but then stated "No... There will be an execution today." A silence. Then, Mary seemed to give a deathly stare 

"Katherine Lisle... It's your turn to die." 

Katherine squealed "H-Huh?!" Anna laughed "Yay! Mary kept my promise!"

Of course it was her...

Milo scowled "What the hell did you do now?!" He yelled. Anna smiled "I maaay have asked my lovely friend Mary to execute Katherine to attend to the lack of killer!" Mary paused "...it's the masterminds choice."

I scowled "Mastermind is a bastard."

 "You do realise I can hear you?"

Katherine looked at Anna "B-B-But why me...?" she mumbled. Anna smirked "You're basically the reason for his suicide! You mocked him, tormented him and told him countless times that he was the reason your sister was dead! You practically pushed him into that pool!" 

Katherine was shaking and look terrified. "N-No... I never did anything..." Anna raised a brow "Never did anything wrong? Well clearly the mastermind disagrees."

"This isn't how the game works!" I yelled. "The rules state that innocents are only executed if they vote incorrectly! We voted correctly, so nobody dies!" Mary glared at me but didn't say anything. Anna smiled "Think of it this way Mr Ular! When there's no set in stone killer, a participant is allowed to suggest someone to take execution! There was no set in stone killer of Liam, so I suggested Ivy! There was no set in stone killer this time around since the killer was the victim, so I am suggesting Katherine." 

There was a long silence after Anna's statement. Mary then stared directly at Katherine "It's punishment time."
