Chapter 1 - Part 5 - Investigation

I stood still for a little while more, then started investigating with everyone else. I decided to ask Ivy and Lidia about when they found the body. "Hey, Ivy, Lidia, have a moment?" I asked. Ivy huffed at me "Why should I waste my time on you? I've got better things to do." Lidia elbowed her which shut her up. "I was just wondering how you found the body." 

Ivy sighed "Well, you're dumbass wouldn't know this yet but our Monopads have a texting feature. So I realised I had a text from Freya asking to meet her. I had missed it since I was asleep, so I came to see her this morning. But her door was open. So I went inside and that's when I saw her dead body. I went to go get Lidia and she went to get you and I guess that's that." She showed me the Monopad as proof. I looked at Lidia and she nodded to confirm. "Alright." I muttered "Thanks Ivy." She rolled her eyes "Whatever."

I went to look at the bloody stage. Freya's body lay against the lights. It was horrible to look at... All her bruises...

Wait a minute... Bruises?

There were bruises on her arm. Phillip seemed to notice them too "How do you think she got them?" I asked. "Well..." He muttered "I think I have a idea. I noticed that our heights are in the Monopad and Freya was one of the tallest here, being 6'1. So, since the majority of us are shorter than her, there would be a struggle. Leaving bruises on her arm."

I nudged Phillip "You're pretty smart! You'll be a good person to have around." He looked away "Oh please. Besides it wasn't me who figured that out it was..." He paused "Actually... Nevermind."

Hm...

I decided to check the rest of the room. There was dents in the wall which confirmed the struggle.

 "Nico!"

I turned and saw Milo. He seemed a little panicked but that was understandable since there was a dead body in the room. "Hey, Nico. I think I need to tell you something..."

 He paused then said

 "I think there was an attempted murder."
