A lot of time passed and night soon came. The infected were back in the Nurses Office and had calmed down quite a bit.
Thomas still wasn't here. It was concerning but I could do this without him even if he didn't show up. I gave Milo his pills and then took one myself. Joseph went to sleep as normal but Selina stayed awake.
"Where's Thomas?" She asked vaguely. I shrugged my shoulders "He's just late..." Selina smiled "You're right! He's probably not dead!"
No... There's no way...
Fear grew within me. I then ran outside.
Thomas... He can't be...
Then, I found him.

He was collapsed on the floor in a teary mess. I immediately approached him "Thomas... what happened?!" I asked. He was breathing heavily and couldn't stop crying "I... I don't... I never... I can't..." I tried to calm his down as much as possible "Thomas, breathe. Take your time." A minute or so passed. Thomas calmed down slightly "I don't... I don't know what's gotten into me lately... I just want to see her again... Why am I so emotional...?" I helped him up and wiped away some of his tears on my sleeve. "If you're distraught maybe I should take night duty..."
"No!" Thomas almost yelled. He then realised he raised his voice "Sorry... What I mean is... It's not fair for you to look after them two nights in a row. I'll be off..." He then looked at my hand. "Are those... Milo's pills?" He asked. I didn't realise I had them. "Oh, yeah. I already gave-"
He didn't let me finish. He took the pills and gave a saddened smile "Farewell Nico!" And he headed towards the Nurses Office almost immediately.
...is he gonna be ok?
I sighed and headed back to my dorm. Seeing as I didn't sleep last night, I was out as soon as I hit the pillow.
Just keep telling yourself it's ok...

"Nico, open the damn door or God help me!"
I woke up to intense knocking. I got up quick as I could and opened the door. To my surprise, Selina was standing there. She grabbed my shoulders and shook me "You damn idiot! Even if you're not the killer I'm placing a good sixty percent of the blame on you!"
H-Huh?
I grabbed Selina's arms "Hey, maybe explain fir-" I then noticed
Selina doesn't have her disease anymore

She grabbed my arm "Come on! It's in the pool..." She dragged me towards the pool. Everyone was crowded around the doorway and I couldn't tell who was who. "Everyone move!" Selina yelled.
Eventually, I made my way through the crowd and saw a shocking sight

I saw Milo on his knees staring at pool. He looked shock into silence. "Thomas... Why..." He was muttering to himself.
"Everyone, move."
Mary walked into the room. She saw Milo then groaned "I should probably mention... The infected will probably have some of their symptoms carried over when they get emotional. It'll stop after about a day."
Milo hid his face in his scarf "Why the hell did this happen?! Who the hell... Why the hell... Arrgh..."
"Uh oh! Another one dead!"
"Shut up..." I muttered under my breath
Thomas... Thomas was such a kind person. He didn't deserve to die...
I'll bring you justice Thomas Dean...
I don't care if I'm traitor. I'm not letting anyone else die without justice.
