Joseph had told everyone else about the party shortly after. Ivy seemed sceptical "What are you gonna do, stab us all in the eyes with scissors?!" She snapped. Joseph was taken aback "W-What?! No of course not! W-Why would you even say that?!"
Ivy didn't answer
Joseph sighed "Well, is everyone coming?" He asked the group. Most people seemed to agree. But then Brooke said "Um... I can't come." Opal titled her head "Why not Miss Quillet? What kind of things would you need to do?" Brooke stayed quiet. Then, Anna suddenly muttered "She's probably planning a murder. She'll kidnap somebody from the party then kill them and throw their body under a table or something!" She cheered. Brooke looked annoyed at her "I-I'm not! Benjamin told me not to go to the party!"
"Benjamin?"
It was Selina who asked this. Brooke nodded "Well... It was in my head but yeah... He said a kid named I-Issac died at a party and by his best friend too! H-He told me I should be careful... So that's what I'm going to do!"
What Brooke was experiencing seemed similar to what I was experiencing, but I didn't bring that up.
"Um... Anyway..." Joseph muttered "Everyone still up for the party?" He asked. Everyone seemed a lot more uneasy now than before. Ivy sighed "If it helps, I'll keep an eye on the lights thingy. I spotted one when walking around earlier. According to a label you can simply press a button and the lights will go out for the entire building! That's something that needs watching."
Everyone seemed to calm down a bit after that. And so, everyone put work into setting up the party. We were all put into pairs but due to the odd number I ended up in a three. I was with Thomas and Katherine, but Katherine didn't seem like she wanted to talk to Thomas.
Our job was to make food. Thomas looked at Katherine "We're lucky you're with us, I'm a complete idiot when it comes to food." He laughed. Katherine didn't look at him "You're a complete idiot all the time." She snapped.
Thomas seemed concerned. He looked at me and I shrugged my shoulders. I didn't want to say my idea to Thomas but I had an idea on why Katherine was so mad.
She started on the food and me and Thomas looked around for ingredients. Whilst searching, Thomas asked "Do you think those who's relatives are killers will find out?" He asked. I shrugged my shoulders "Couldn't say, but maybe if people just asks around they'll find stuff out?" Thomas nodded. "Well what about you Nico?"
I wasn't sure what to say so I just showed him the pad. He raised a brow "Two killers? I don't have much knowledge on these games so I couldn't say wether that's happened before, but perhaps stabbing at the same time or something along those lines?" He suggested.
I agreed on that. "So... I'm guessing Emma was a killer?" I asked. He sighed "Yes, she was. If our game is anything like hers then I think I know why. But that doesn't make things less painful."
I looked at Katherine. She was chopping tomatoes and not looking at any of us.
We soon got food prepared and I went to the dining area where we were hosting the party. Joseph was trying to calm things down because Milo and Anna were arguing.
"I always knew your sister was a bitch!"
"Oh please, your brother was weak as hell. He probably walked right into it!"
"For the last damn time he's not my brother!"
I looked at Joseph. He sighed then yelled "Guys! We can't get mad at each other for things we didn't do. It's not Anna's fault that Amelia killed Archer. We can't fall out over things we can't prevent."
The pair stayed quiet. I went over to Joseph. "So... Was Tyler a victim too?" I asked. He shook his head "Killer. But I have no idea who he killed."
I tried thinking over and using process of elimination
Zoe and Lukas were killers and Nathan was their victim
With the way Katherine is acting it's safe to assume Emma killed Katy
I know that Lucy was killed by Archer and Archer was killed by Amelia
Mary, Daniel and Benjamin seemed to have survived
Sarah was the mastermind
So that leaves Issac and Simon
"Issac was the victim. But it's not entirely Tyler's fault."
Nathan's voice seemed like a guide. So I believed it. "Perhaps Issac? It could explain why Ivy is being a lot more rude towards you today." I suggested. "Hm.." He mumbled "But why..."
*SMASH*
There was a loud smash from the hallway. Everyone immediately ran out and there in the hall...

...was Selina Blithers with her head bleeding out.
There was a glass on the floor which was clearly the weapon. Then, it was clear by a certain Mathew Kimly's expression who the attacker was.
Anna grabbed Mathew by the arm "What the hell luck boy?!" She snapped. "Her sister... Sarah Blithers did something to Mary! I know she did!" Selina seemed as if she was losing energy. Milo held her by the arms so that she didn't fall. "N-Nurse's Office..." She muttered "There's one n-next to the dining h-hall..." Milo looked at me and I helped take Selina to the nurse's office.
Once there, Milo grabbed bandages and wrapped them around Selina's head "You're lucky. Any longer you would've been dead." He told her.
She sighed and looked at us "Look, I know the whole me being related to Sarah thing makes me suspicious, but I promise I don't know that much. The most I know is that I got sent into the police area as a relative of Sarah Blithers. I then took over the area and, with some help from an AI, was able to make it seem as if the person who ran the place was holding the event you were all coming to. Three people were left working and Sarah's..." She hesitated "...special ally killed them all. Then, two days later you all arrived and got knocked out by this ally." She explained.
She then looked at us "Well? Any questions?"
Milo raised his hand "Two. Do you have any idea on why Sarah betrayed you? And who is this ally you mentioned?"
Selina looked away "I don't know, but I woke up like everyone else and was told by a small device in the room I was in the killing game. And for the allies, well Sarah has... Or had three allies. Me, a girl named Octavia Ford..." She paused "And the third I can't say."
"You can't say?" Milo snapped.
"Don't push her. I wouldn't want to answer if I was her."
I sighed "Milo if she can't share she can't share." Milo sighed "Fine. And you know what, I'll stay with Selina so that nobody tries anything."
I smiled. It was simple enough. If Milo died, Selina was the killer and if Selina died Milo was the killer. It's like a game about space people where everyone is suspicious.
I left for my room with one thought in my head
The party is going to happen tonight. It'll be fine. Nobody will die.
