We all stood around the podiums again. Oddly enough, everyone's eyes were on Lydia

Milo Plains:

"...are we gonna address the elephant in the room?"

Anna Bones:

"We just started! Give us some time fire boy."

 Thomas Dean:

"Would you mind me asking what you're referring to, Milo?"

Milo Plains:

 "I'm talking about Lydia."

Lydia Jones:

 "W-What?"

Nico Ular:

"Um... What Milo means is, you were clearly attacked. Meaning one way or another you were at the crime scene."

Phillip Cooper:

"But... Lydia's memories were tampered with. So even if she was at the scene she probably won't remember anything."

Anna Bones:

"Oooh! I think I know what happened!"

Selina Blithers:

"After what you did the other day, I don't think anyone will see your ideas as valid."

Anna Bones:

 "Ironic, coming from a Blithers."

Selina Blithers:

 "..."

Selina seemed annoyed. It was worrying but I'd have to put it aside

Joseph Gulls:

"Hey, we shouldn't be thinking like that. Everyone's ideas are worth listening to, even if they may be wrong."

Anna Bones:

"Exactly! So, here's how I think it went! Our killer lead Opal to the garden, then stabbed her with their sword! But Lydia witnessed the crime so the killer knocked her out!"

Phillip Cooper:

 "That sounds pretty likely..."

 Katherine Lisle:

"But... Why not just kill her?"

Selina Blithers:

"That's what I've been wondering. You lot probably wouldn't know this, but normally every third murder is a double murder, so there are two victims... Or two killers... But I'm pretty certain that was a one off."

Mathew Kimly:

"Maybe the killer thought she was dead?"

Lydia Jones:

"Wait... I don't think thats the case..."

 Anna Bones:

 "Huh?"

Lydia Jones:

 "...we need to discuss."

 - NON STOP DEBATE -

Phillip Cooper:

"Um Lydia... Are you sure you have anything we can use? You do have memory loss after all..."

Lydia Jones:

 "...I'm certain."

 Milo Plains:

 "Well spit it out!"

Lydia Jones:

"The killer could've killed me without leaving bruises!"

Nico Ular:

"Lydia's right. The culprit had no reason to use force because they had the sword."

 Phillip Cooper:

"But... what if Lydia defended herself? So the culprit ended up harming them without the sword..."

Nico Ular:

"That could be the case, but it's much more likely that the culprit would want to kill her immediately and stabbing would be easy."

Milo Plains:

"The killer would have to be an idiot not to notice that."

Thomas Dean:

"Aha! So by that logic, the killer intended to knock Lydia out."

Joseph Gulls:

 "Hang on guys..."

Anna Bones:

 "Hm?"

 Joseph Gulls:

"Well... Let's think about this for a second. If we're right in assuming there was a struggle, then Opal had no weapon. Therefore she'd have to use her fists..."

Katherine Lisle:

"H-Huh? What are you getting at?"

Joseph Gulls:

"Well... If Opal used her fists, then the killer would most likely get a couple of bruises. Do you understand what I mean?"

Lydia Jones:

 "..."

 Selina Blithers:

"...how do you plead, Lydia Jones?"
