Chapter 13

"Fire!" Snapping her attention back, she pushed away from Boruto too. She was blushing furiously, but she couldn't care about that now. She needed to get everyone out of here.

"Y/n! Exit the school now!" Boruto ordered, not waiting for a reply he helped people find their way out, trying to calm them down with the others.

Y/n huffed, annoyed. She wasn't going to stand by and do absolutely nothing. She had to help people, she couldn't leave them just like that.

She suddenly heard a loud crack, turning around she saw a lady that was crushed down by a big wide wood... This place is collapsing! Well, the fire made it collapse.

If the fire spreads everywhere, the whole school will be done for... Running over to the lady, she could feel heat on her body, flames we're somewhat close to them and they were about to spread on the wood as well.

"Come on!" Y/n urged, trying to pull the wood up, but with her best effort it was useless. Her body still ached with pain. She used all her strength, trying to pull the wood up... It budged! She could feel her hands weakening.

She pushed the wood one more time up so the woman could escape. Without hesitation, she crawled away. When she was safe, Y/n dropped the wood and it landed with a loud thud.

The woman got up on her feet, her dress was a mess, but she had a face full of fear as she gazed at Y/n.

"W-where now?" The woman asked. Y/n looked around to see they were supposed by fire, she could feel the heat very close to her.

"This way!" She said, leading toward the smallest flame, she began to run until she was few inches away from it. It was the smallest fire there was, they had to jump. There was no other option.

"We have to jump!" Y/n yelled over her shoulder. The lady looked more scared now, but nodded anyway. Y/n was first to jump, she could feel heat closer now and she burned her leg a little but she couldn't focus on that now.

"Jump!" She yelled. But there were no replies or motions. Was she really going to give up? Just as Y/n was about to worry, she saw the lady jump over fire and land beside her, as she collapsed.

"Come on..." Y/n said, helping her get up. Together, they ran away from the building and catched up to others. Outside of school was very cold, but Y/n ignored shivers building up in her.

"Martha!" Turning her head she saw a man run up to the lady she rescued, as he spinned her like a friger spinner- sorry ..

As he spinned her around, hugging her close. She could see they were crying, happy to see each other's faces again and Y/n smiled, watching the moment. They seemed happy.

Y/n wondered could she and Boruto be like that? He did kiss her... Kinda. But, he still had feelings for Sophie. Y/n wasn't sure about that.

She watched them fall behind, talking to their friends as they hugged each other glad they're alive. Y/n wondered will someone feel the same way for her... Would Sarada care?

"Y/n!" She turned around and saw Boruto call out for her from distance, she could also see Sophie who was holding on his arms and crying, probably trying to tell him to stay close to her.

Boruto just whispered something in her ears then kissed her forehead and began to run over toward you. You tried to ignore the sadness and anger but it was almost impossible to.

"Y/n...! I'm glad you're alive, I got worried when you didn't exit..." Boruto sighed with relief and Y/n just smiled. She may not be a ninja, but she was capable of handling herself .... Sometimes.

"Don't worry, I'm fine." Y/n tried to calm down Boruto, his eyes softened when he gazed at her. Suddenly, Y/n felt hands around her body as Boruto pulled her close to her, warping his arms around her...
